safe and sturdy bed rail
This bed rail really works well. Make sure you measure the mattress, width and height of bed from floor. I ordered a 27in. high bed rail and it’s great. Had to have someone install as you have to place a strap in between the two mattresses. Easy to install. I installed it on a twin mattress, remote control bed. Haven’t had issues falling off the bed. However, you have to get in bed from the foot of the bed and slide in as the bed rail is on the right side. Be sure to get into the bed and see where the rail should be installed before it’s finalized. The left side of the bed is by the wall. It’s always a two person job!

This is being used on a âseniorâs bed. After she fell out of bed several times, I purchased this to help keep her safe in bed. She likes the adjustable bar. She uses a king-sized pillow as cushioning between her and the bar. No more falls!

Be mindful of size
This is a very good product, the strap it came with wasn’t really needed for our needs but seemed a sturdy piece of material. The initial set up is very simple just follow the directions, please note that the pocket it came with will need to be secured by some other way, the hook and catch was not sturdy enough to hold the pocket while moving around I suggest zip ties. After it’s put together it is a very strong piece of equipment and does hold up being used as both a bed gaurd and being used as a prop for sitting up.

Quality product
I was impressed by the quality of this product from the moment I removed it from the box. Assembly was easy, no tools needed, everything snapped together. The installation instructions were not the best or I’m too dense to understand them. I had to install it twice, the second time worked perfectly.

Seems like a decently sturdy rail.
1 It’s relatively short at the top. The portion that the mattress resides next to. The installation was easy but it only sticks up 2 or 3 inches above the mattress. It is a pillow top so it’s a thicker than normal mattress.2 The lower leg portion is telescoping/extendable for taller beds which is great for some. My pops has a low to the ground frame because the wheels had to be removed to prevent the bed from moving out from under him. The issue is with the legs all the way collapsed they are just a tad too long for this particular bed.3 As I said it is stout. It fastened to the box spring with wood screws which is optional as there is a safety strap to secure it to the bed frame on the other side. Strong and secure.It just didn’t fit my exact application. The product seemed solid and as advertised.

Purchased this for a 95 year old lady who had fallen (uninjured fortunately) from her bed in the middle of the night. I suggested that we should look for a bed rail of some type and finally settled on this one. My concern was one review said it could only be used on the right side of the bed. When it arrived and we assembled it we were happy to discover that it can be used on either side of the bed. The extendable arm can be turned to the right or left very easily. This is installed on a single bed and the generous strap that attaches to the bed spring was plenty long enough t9 wrap a few times before clipping it into place. Highly recommend!
