Excellent backpack!
I have a Yorkshire Terrier that weighs 2.3Kg/5lbs, and I bought the mesh version in size L.My first impression when I received the package was that it was very well wrapped and protected, the assembly was very easy and fast, I was looking for something that when I didn’t need to use it I could put it away and this is perfect because can be stored anywhere. In terms of strength and material, for the moment, since my dog ââis within the low weight range, it is excellent, although it is very rigid so it gives me a lot of confidence.We used it on our last trip, we went to the beach, mountains and rivers, it got wet, it dried, it got dirty with mud, beach water, sand and it was super easy to clean; using it when walking or climbing was very comfortable and felt light. So far I consider it to be a good product, I recommend it!

Great for plane travel, but wouldn’t use it for hiking
This pack was great for plane travel, it fit easily under the middle seat in economy. I don’t think it would have fit in the aisle or window seat without squishing it a lot, but I didn’t try. I had no hiccups with TSA or the airline staff, I was mostly nervous about not being let on the plane, like they would find something to criticize about the carrier. It kept my hands free and I felt that my cat was comfortable and secure. The only thing I would highly recommend is early boarding, so you have time and plenty of space to turn the carrier on it’s side, arrange the pet, and get it under the seat and then arrange yourself -planes are tight on space. The zippers and the material is very sturdy, and the mesh breathable – I can’t believe anyone would get the vinyl windowed option, that’s not acceptable for an animal.As for comfort, it’s not very good. The pack is heavy, although the shoulder straps are nicely padded, they aren’t comfortable and 1-2 hours of constant carrying this with a 6 lb cat made my shoulder ache. The hip belt isn’t a quick adjust, although I think I could replace the buckles myself to make it so. I am an avid hiker who uses quality, lightweight gear, and I would never take this hiking (although I don’t hike with my cat anyway). Any movement of my cat was felt against my back, making the pack rock, and he moved a lot. I’m 5 feet tall and the pack rubs and hits my lower back in a way that wouldn’t be sustainable for a hike. However, I’m not rating this pack on hiking comfort, because this company obviously isn’t a quality hiking pack company. As far as I am aware, there isn’t a quality pet backpack for hiking on the market, but I’m sure one is coming soon to the market, and the price will be enormous. Overall, amazing for plane travel, also I would expect it to be great for car travel and trips to the vet.

So many features; well made and roomy
I ordered this to bring my best buddy/gallery director, @JustMerle with me on short walks and picnics in the small town we are in. It arrived quickly, is lightweight and folds really small and flat which is great for storage. It opens easily and is roomy enough for my chonky kitty who is probably around 12-15#. The back extension is roomy and not angled like many others. He walked right in and checked it out. The zippered areas are secure and the main one has a feature to keep him from opening the zippers. The side pockets are spacious and hold a phone, beverage, keys, money etc. There is a good mix of windows and screen areas so even on a hot day it should have plenty of ventilation.Many others I have seen have large clear window areas but not much screen areas and they often come with fans so I assume they can get pretty hot. He could stand up and lay down with plenty of room with the back extension closed. Many others available are smaller so check dimensions when shopping. I put this on in the front when I walked so I could monitor him better. It was comfortable and the straps adjusted to secure it to lessen bounce while walking. He did really well, I opened the extension when we got to the top of the hill and it was nice to have my friend with me while watching the sunset! He was calm and didn’t seem like he felt trapped; he was just curious about what was around and all the sounds, birds etc. I expect on future trips he will settle and lay down or even nap.I am very happy with this product, the design, features, and quality. It has the best of just about all the various backpacks out there, all in one.Lots of people seem hesitant to get a soft sided backpack vs the spaceship type hard body versions available, but when I saw the reviews for this were just as good I ordered it and am so glad I did. You will not be disappointed if you order this! As a bonus, this can also be used for trips to the vet. They seem to prefer soft carriers rather than hard sided carriers and with this there are multiple access doors so the vet does not have to reach in for a scared cat. I will probably leave this out for him all the time to have a little hideaway of his own also.

Functional and Reasonably Priced Pet Carrier Backpack
Liked the overall design concept of this backpack carrier and also liked the fact that it has great ventilation and was reasonably priced. It works fine as a backpack carrier for a small animal. It’s not overly spacious when assembled in backpack mode so it’s best for small animals (ours was 9 lbs). It is fairly well made; the materials didn’t rip when clawed, it has zipper locks on all zippers, and has good storage pockets on the side. When it was fully open our pet really liked it, but as previously mentioned it seemed small when folded up and used as a backpack. The one thing we didn’t like about the pack was that the back part that gets folded into the pack when the product is being used in backpack mode intrudes into the available space for our pet which already was limited. It also doesn’t easily and seamlessly fold back in to form the back of the pack and I needed to work it a bit to be able to zip it back in. But overall, for the price it was a nice looking and decent carrier compared to the pricier ones on the market.

i was sitting on this purchase for so long and so glad i finally went for it. super functional, sturdy, great quality. much better than a traditional cat carrier. useful pockets on each side, spacious (plus opens up to be extra spacious). super happy, would recommend.

Den pecute Rucksack nutze ich für meinen 3,8 kg Kater um ihn auf Spaziergänge mitzunehmen, da aufgrund meiner Wohnsituation nur gesicherter Freigang möglich ist. Auch auf kürzeren Autofahrten nutzen wir den Rucksack.Entscheidend für den Kauf war, dass das Material grundsätzlich wasserdicht ist und dank der Klappe, mit der sich das obere Mesh-Fenster abdecken lässt, der Kater auch bei leichtem Regen trocken bleibt. Bei starkem Regen denke ich würde durch das seitliche/vordere Mesh dennoch Wasser eindringen. Geruch nach Plastik war am Anfang vorhanden, ist aber nach wenigen Tagen vollständig verflogen.Der Rucksack ist dank des Metallrahmens stabil, lässt sich dank der breiten Träger und des Bauchgurts gut tragen. Die ReiÃverschluss-Sicherung ist gerade für Katzen sinnvoll, ebenso die Möglichkeit das Tier innen anzuhängen (er trägt drauÃen ein Geschirr). So kann der Deckel auch offen bleiben und er kann oben herausschauen das macht er zB beim Autofahren ganz gerne.Auch die Möglichkeit den Rucksack zu vergröÃern finde ich gut (funktioniert problemlos), unbeaufsichtigt würde ich ihn dann allerdings nicht im Rucksack lassen.Ob das Mesh auch standhält, wenn eine Katze sich ernsthaft herauskratzen will, kann ich nicht beurteilen, da mein Kater den Rucksack sehr gerne mag. Er legt sich hin (dazu bietet der Rucksack ausreichend Platz), lässt sich entspannt tragen und hat durch das Mesh eine gute Sicht, kann sich aber auch ein wenig verstecken wenn er will. Ich habe ein Transportbox-Kissen in den Rucksack gelegt, da der Rucksackboden an sich hart ist.Die zusätzlichen Taschen bieten Raum für Leine, Handy, Schlüssel und Leckerli. Schade ist, dass es kein Fach für eine Wasserflasche gibt.Der Rucksack ist von der Qualität her zwar nicht mit meinem 250 ⬠Rucksack für meine 12 kg Senior-Hündin zu vergleichen, das kann man für den günstigen Preis auch nicht erwarten, erfüllt aber voll und ganz seinen Zweck. Este transportÃn es súper cómodo tanto para mà perrita como para mÃ. ¿Por qué? Porque es una mochila, mi anterior transportÃn lo tenÃa que cargar en la mano y aunque es pequeña y pesa 2 kg al final cargar el transportÃn por el aeropuerto es agotador, con mochila no, es mucho más cómodo. Lo otro, es que al ser mochila es más alta y la perrita se puede mover con mucha holgura. Como ven en la foto entra perfecto en el espacio (limitado además) frente al asiento en una aerolÃnea low cost. Se puede extender debajo del asiento de enfrente para que incluso tenga más espacio. Tiene además bolsillos laterales donde se puede guardar sus papeles y un bebedero plegable. Lo único que le hecho en falta es como una cortinilla o algo que la cubra un poco para que no se asuste con la gente en el aeropuerto, lo que he hecho es poner un pañuelo para que no vea a la gente y no se agobie, pero en el avión va super tranquila y duerme todo el rato. Lo otro positivo es que el forro interior se puede quitar y lavar por si se mancha.Lo tengo más que probado porque viajo 2 veces al mes por trabajo, es un producto muy bien pensado y útil. Lo recomiendo al 100%
