Must be worn with a helmet or hat
The product is very nice – well made, good fabric, good open mesh design, and it stays in place. The only downside – and it’s not really a downside if you’re aware – is that this is not a wear-alone skull cap. It is small and only covers the top of the ears and the top of the forehead so to keep it in place it needs to be worn with a helmet, cap or other head covering.I wore this as a motorcycle helmet liner for a 100+ mile ride in hot weather and it was very comfortable. Another reason I wear helmet liners is because they cover my hearing aids and the skullcap allows me to put on a snug helmet without affecting the position of my hearing aids. This product works for that purpose.I definitely recommend it but know what you’re getting.

The perfect accessory for VR.
I shave my head, and I like to unwind playing games or watching movies in my Meta Quest 3 I upgraded to a halo for a snug fit, but the fabric most of these halos use is very irritating for shaved heads – bumps, rashes, etc. The other night, I put a t-shirt over my head and put on the VR set. Not the coolest, prettiest, or most efficient, but no irritation. I searched for a skull cap, and this one was the fastest delivery. I received it 3 1/2 hours later, and I haven’t taken it off since I got it. Not only does it feel cool, but it makes the entire set feel more balanced on my head, like it’s a single snug fit rather than pressure on the front and the top, and a vice coming from the back. Heck, I’ve even left it on when I took the headset off because it just feels comfortable (in the house).I honestly think this was one of the best and cheapest purchases I’ve made for using with my VR headset.Pros:ComfortableWell madeCooling in VRCuts the draft when I’m not in VRCons:I look goofy as heck in it by itself.I’ll take looking goofy in my house if I’m comfy.

Better than a bandanna
These fit very well under my helmet. They are light, keep me cool and dry very quickly. I sweat a lot, especially on training rides and these are definitely better than a bandanna when it comes to soaking up sweat. I still get sweat dripping during fairly hard rides after 45-50 minutes but not early as much.

This product works
Keeps your head cool. It fits. It protects your scalp from the sun, which is mission-critical. It works well with sunglasses. Fabric is soft and stretches nicely without getting the âbunched up underwearâ effect. I would buy a line extension that covers the ears. A great deal all in all.

Good product, bad color
I’ve now bought two sets of these and like the fit and ventilation they provide. As a cyclist who is also bald, I find these to be great on the bike under my helmet to keep me cool while preventing my head from getting weird tan lines. The reason I dropped the stars down is that the orange color is awful. It’s more of a watered down peach color rather than orange. I expected a different color than what I got and would not have bought it has I known this was the color.

Works great for longer hair under ice hockey helmets
My son wears these skull caps under both his goalie helmet and player helmet for ice hockey. He has longer hair on top and this keeps the hair out of his eyes and the helmet in place. Soaks up all of his sweat too so nothing drips in his eyes. Lightweight and has holes to keep him cool. They also launder well. I have bought several more packs of these because they are the best out of any we have tried.

Not a good fit
For me, this skull cap was kind of useless. I purchased it and a different one from another company so I could easily put my 3/4 motorcycle helmet on without my ears getting caught and being bent over. Which if you do not know, is painful. And I was tired of trying to wedge my fingers up into the helmet to push my ears into position.I wear a size 7-1/4 hat, and these did not come down over the top of my ears. So for this application, they are useless to me. They work fine for running, moister wicking, and other applications. Just not good for wearing under a full face or 3/4 helmet. I would give them 5-stars if they suited my needs, but since they fall short, I am rating them only off of their performance under other conditions or applications.
