Perfect Starter Kit
My husband enjoys baking a variety of breads, rolls (dinner and sweet) and even though he doesn’t make sourdough bread, he thought this kit contained some things that he could use. He likes the measuring cup for warming the milk and the whisk for mixing up the dry ingredients. The dough scraper and scoring tool are of good quality and should last for years. The dough rising basket is lined and of good quality. He had never used that material before (Bannenton) but it also appears to be a piece that will last a long time. He used it once and said that it was okay, but he prefers his bread bowls. He said that he would use it if his other two bowls were already in use. Everything is easily cleaned as it can all go into the dishwasher. The bread box is great! The changeable calendar on the top is an added bonus that allows you to keep track of the date the baked goods were made. You can easily tell when you are getting low, so you know when to start baking again! The box has kept things fresher a few days longer than our other method, which was leaving it covered and on the counter. So definitely a step up from our previous storage method. This is a nice little starter kit as well as containing some very useful items for the more experienced bakers among us.

This is a lovely proofing set. I started breadbaking earlier this year and it’s convenient to have kitchen tools made just for the job. The tools are decent quality for the price — not pro cookware quality, but I expect they’ll last just fine. I really like the breadbox and basket pieces, which do have function beyond bread, as well. On top of everything else, all the pieces pack into the breadbox, so the whole set stores away easily.

Bread box unusable
I bought this set primarily for the bread storage box and the sourdough starter jar. I did not really need the added accessories because I use a bread maker but I thought it was a good price. I used the sourdough starter jar to begin my starter. I then baked a different bread and went to put it in the box and found that the lid was warped making it unusable. By that time I had thrown away the packaging and used the jar so I could not return it.

Non functional
Difficult to clean too small for multiple loaves quite frankly a waste of space. None of the tools were worth it one that stirs the handle already broke. I guess the one good tool in there is the gray spatula for stirring your starter.

The buckle doesnât work.
Not bad, but the buckle is absolutely not firm as it advertised. Itâs actually stays open. The rest is ok.

A nice way for a beginner to make bread
This JCORJCUS Bread Storage Container, Bread Box set seems like itâs going to be a nice way for us to make homemade bread. Itâs a nice (large) set of items needed to make sourdough, but also includes a bread basket for storing any kind of bread.We both like this additional element – has been great for bakery breads weâve gotten – and we look forward to using it for our own. It truly keeps things air tight and fresh.The set seems to have all the elements needed for making bread. This is a whole new thing for us – neither of us are bakers – so we are looking at this set with an amateurs eyes, but the parts seem to be well made: The basket for making the bread appears to be a good one – and is not silicone, which we do not have a good history with – so we are not worried about it leaving a chemical taste in the bread. The basket itself appears well made. All of the parts of the set also appear well made and with good materials. Again, being new we have nothing to compare it to, but with a set so complete one can get going pretty much right away. Overall we are very pleased with the set and hope to get a lot of use out of it over the years.

Great Baking Kit for Baking Bread Journey
I am new to this sourdough bread baking phenomena . So, I have to start somewhere . By getting this kit with multiple tools for baking really helps. I needed mostly everything instead of using other tools at home and adapting. The proofing basket, whisk, starter jar, dough scraper and scorer are great. All the handles on the tools are nice and the silicone scraper works good. The rattan basket seems to be made well the fabric liner fits very well. All the tools work well and its just great to have a complete set and keep it together. Everything comes packed well in the airtight bread container. Not sure of I need the container but it can store other baked goods, it is easy to open ,close and clean. I do not think it seals super tight though. Now as my starter grows I will be baking bread more with the help of these bread baking tools. This is a good starter kit for beginners and for experienced bread bakers I’m sure

Perfect for beginner sourdough maker
This is the perfect starter kit with everything you need to for making sourdough. The jar and measuring tools makes it easy to tell how high your starter has risen. I recomend this for anyone interested in starting to make sourdough. The bread bin is an awesome bonus and there is a dial on the top you can record the date so you know how old the bread is.
