Great trimmer, let me tell you all about itâ¦
This is a really nice trimmer, let me tell you all about it. I have owned an older version of this same trimmer and have used it for a number of years and it has continued to perform well. This is an upgrade over that one. Because I have used that frequently and for so long, I know that I can trust this trimmer, and have long trusted this brand. The trimmer comes in a nice case which is durable and has a zipper which functions smoothly. I like that the case includes molded areas for the trimmer itself and three of the larger attachments. The remaining attachments all fit into a mesh area on the other side of this case, which is convenient and efficient with space use, though on the other hand if you keep all of these attachments in that area, then it is quite hard to fish around for what you want, and you might very well need to remove many other pieces to get to the one you are looking for. That side has two mesh panels which overlap a little, so you pull it open in the middle to pull out the pieces. Personally, I have removed several of the attachments which I donât plan on using in the near term, for me those are the attachments meant for much longer lengths of hair, and that makes it much easier to reach in and access the parts that I do use. The charging cord is also stored in there. The charging cord is USB on one end and the other end has a proprietary plug which fits into the bottom of the trimmer. I do wish that they would instead use a more universal USB-C plug into the trimmer, so that you could use any USB-C cord, and instead you will need to keep track of this one additional proprietary cord. This kit does not include the charging block, so you instead charge this off of your own charging block/outlet. The trimmer seems to hold a good charge. It is well weighted and feels solid and comfortable to hold. It is easy to move this trimmer around to access the areas you are trimming. I like the included accessories, particularly the ones that allow you to rotate a switch or knob to adjust the cutting height without removing the attachment. The set also includes some attachments for trimming eyebrows and body hair. The trimmer motor seems strong, yet it is not loud. It would be nice to have a display indicating the amount of charge remaining, and as I mentioned earlier, it would be nice to have a non-proprietary more universal charging cord that utilizes the more commonly found USB-C. Those are relatively minor concerns. This is a very nice trimmer and a very nice set of accessories and case. I am attaching some photos to show the trimmer, cord, case, and accessories. I hope some of this is helpful for you. I really like it.

Versatile grooming gear
There are so many attachments for this groomer that I am sure I probably won’t use more than three or four of them. The main need I have is for trimming my hair and beard. This Philips Norelco groomer works very well for that need, and it holds a charge for several trimmings. I like the case with the cut outs to fit the main components. I have an older model of this same groomer and the carrying case is completely unstructured, so pieces just move around and more than once the main unit has turned itself on while I was holding the case. Out with the old, in with the new.

Tons of Options + Great Trimmer
25 attachments is what you get with this trimmer, so if you’re looking for all sorts of options to trim hair, face, and other areas of the body you’ll likely find what you’re looking for in this set.The trimmer itself works great and operates very smoothly against the skin. There is no tugging or pulling. Philips claims this has self sharpening blades, so if this continues to operate similar to its first few uses, I’ll be quite pleased.There is also a precision trimming guard that operates from 1-3mm in .2mm increments, which can act as a more permanent option to the single length guards.You get a pretty solid carrying case for all your attachments, but it is quite hefty in size so if you’re traveling, you may want to opt for a smaller case to pack this away in that doesn’t need to fit everything inside.The unit itself is also 100% waterproof, so not only is it easy to clean with a quick rinse, you don’t have to worry about dropping this in the sink.The one drawback for me is the charging cable. It’s a single USB-A cable with the two pronged tip for the trimmer itself with no charging brick or adapter, so you’re on your own to find one laying around your house or picking one up to use with this.Overall this is a really solid trimmer. It feels great in the hand, it does its job well, and gives you options to go beyond just the face.

Great Beard Trimmer
This is a great set. It comes in a nice case. The actual unit is very solid and quality feeling. The hair trims off very well with the trimmer and the sheer number of attachments allow you an amazing amount of precision in trimming. You can taper, angle, fade, trim and get absolute precision with your beard. The other attachments allow you control over tighter spots like your lip for trimming your mustache. And the body shaving and nose hair attachments allow you to maintain hair in less visible places too. The one thing I didn’t like is that this unit isn’t charged with a standard USB C cord like most electronics these days. But overall, it is a very nice grooming kit and it would also make a nice stocking stuffer for a guy with a beard.

A quality trimmer
This is a high-quality, sturdy product, with a ton of options. Like, almost too many. Since itâs for your head, beard and body, thereâs like 25 parts, almost 30 settings and a huge userâs manual in very small print. Itâs a little overwhelming at first, and I wish there was a more user friendly âquick startâ guide with bigger font but looking forward to figuring it all out. The unit charged up quickly, within a couple hours, and was ready to go. Comes in a nice, solid and compact travel pack that contains all the various pieces. My primary use is for keeping my beard under control, a task for which this trimmer is more than up to. I havenât spent much time using these for haircuts, but not opposed. I love the gentle language related to manscaping âbelow the belt,â but not something Iâm too inclined to test out. All in all, a very solid, reliable trimmer from a trusted brand. Itâs a little on the pricy side, but you get quality, durability and a comprehensives trimming solution, so well worth it. And, unlike other trimmers Iâve used, this one requires no oiling.
