Solid, attractive and functional
Ordered two of these for my wife without expectation. What a lovely surprise to receive such a fine product. Quite solid and heavy, rich dark color, unexpected detail in the flower petals so all around a quality piece.Functionally it works quite well. In other reviews I’ve seen complaints that some ash escapes the vessel and that’s true. However, I’ve never seen an incense stick burning which didn’t allow some ash to escape. This one seems to allow the least amount of ash of any burner I’ve ever used. The stick stands up perfectly straight due to a deep center hole. Some times the very top ash may spill but once the stick is going all the mess falls straight down into the center of the lotus.No problem fitting in a tea light candle either and produces a lovely effect of a lotus blossom flower with a fire core. Recommended and very much enjoyed. Will be ordering more for personal use and gifts.

Elegant and useful
I really wish that I invented this. This is perfect for the smokeless incense sticks that I buy on Amazon. The only downside is that the tiny hole can get clogged. This can be fixed by using a needle to clean out plugged holes. FYI I use my holder several times a day and have to clean it once a week (this takes seconds).

Beautiful lotus…
It’s a beautiful lotus, though smaller than I thought it’d be. With the Chinese incense sticks, ash falls from the sides when I cut the bottom and leave much – I have to cut each stick of my grandpa’s left-over incense, so it’s not always that ash falls out of the holder. And I can only put one stick at a time because the rest of the wholes aren’t perforated, like one of the reviews mentioned.But out of all the incense burners I’ve seen, this one is the shape I’ve liked the best,

Great product
I love this item, it looks bueatiful and as described. I read some reviews prior to purchase and the biggest compliant was the holes were not deep enough and that was true. Problem solved with an 1/16″ drill bit in every hole, works perfect now. Its plastic resin do drilling it was no problem. LOVE IT!

A little smaller than I expected. One reviewer said it was about the size of her/his hand. That person must be a child or a very petite woman, though, because few adults have hands that small! Anyway, it’s great to use as a table ornament. Ill never burn incense in it, however, as ash would never land in it but would instead litter the table top. Perfect anyway! I like it a lot!

This is an extremely attractive and elegant piece. It does take some effort to get the incense to stand straight. I have found that some sticks are thicker then others. Obviously, the thinnest stick will have the most wiggle room in the hole. I have one brand that is quite costly, with thicker sticks and it stands perfectly straight in the holder. Just depends on what you are using.
