    Excellent dog food
My dog loves this. I love it because it has no peas or legumes which have been linked to dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs. My question is why are all the other dog food companies ignoring this almost certain link and continue to include these ingredient in their products. High heated kibble is the worst offender.

    Good dry food
My dog is very picky and tends to have skin allergies, itches a lot, you know the type. He likes this food so I’m happy. It’s more on the expensive side but I just use it to supplement his wet food from the farmers dog. Otherwise he’s always begging for more food after dinner. Now he’s not. Recommend for sure.

High quality human grade dog food!
I have a dog who is incredibly picky with sensitive stomach. I have done a ton of research on high quality human grade dog food (both kibbles and wet foods), and I’ve come a cross the Open Farm and Honest Kitchen brands. Ingredients are great for dog! It doesn’t contain any chemicals or unnecessary ingredients that could potentially harm the dog’s health.Open Farm offers so many different flavors. My dog seems to really like the grass-fed beef one the most. It smells amazing upon opening the package. The size of the kibbles are small, which is easier for my dog to swallow and digest! My chow chow’s thick coat appears to be healthier, soft, and shiny. He’s in a healthy weight range. However, it is on the expensive side, but it’s definitely worth it. He doesn’t throw up on this food – no stomach issues. His stools are soft but not watery. I’ll keep purchasing Open Farm products! Totally satisfied.

    Decent
Switched dog foods from science diet to one with fish protein. Dog loves it, no stomach issues. Only wish would have been to have resealable bag, and bag came with slit on front of package. Food A+, packaging doesn’t make sense.

    Really Happy!!
When I first adopted my girl Bodhi, I was told by the adoption agency and my vet to keep her on Purina. Was told it was the most regulated of all brands. Bodhi was ok with it but I had to add boiled chicken, carrots, other ingredients to make her interested in the food. Then I started going fresh. She did well on the fresh but it turned into a car payment the older she got. Went back to Purina but then they had some problems with owners blaming the food for their dogs getting sick so I stopped immediately and went on the hunt for a dry food I felt comfortable feeding her. I went down the rabbit hole researching dog food brands. So here is my review of the Alaskan caught Salmon. First off, this is the first dry I do not have to add other ingredients to. Bodhi just downed it the second I put it in her bowl which is a first! Next feeding I just put a bowl down and she did it again! She loves the food on its own! She is not a food crazed dog so it was really something. Her first 💩 was exactly the same texture as when i had her on the very expensive fresh food which according to vets is the perfect consistency so another win! I’m still new to this brand, will update as time goes on. As a beginner I purchased two 4 pound bags just to see. She loves the salmon, turkey is yet to be determined but regardless I will purchase the large bag of salmon for sure! Very happy 😊

My Dog Will Not Eat It but they have Great Customer Service
This was my choice for my dog’s first adult food. She’s a year and a couple of months old, and we’re coming off Purina One Puppy Chow, which the vet recommended. As it was time to switch from puppy to adult, I looked online and found the Open Farm brand. It’s expensive, but if it was good for my dog, I’d pay it.I don’t know if its the Salmon flavor. Maybe I should have tried the chicken, but my dog turns her nose up at this food. She won’t eat it. I’ve got this nearly full bag of expensive food, and I’ve got to find something else for her to eat.EDIT & Update: I was contacted by Open Farm, and they offered me a full refund! Who does that? I thought that great customer service, and I think I’ll try their Chicken flavor. I changed the number of stars for this review because the company deserves that. They’re very interested in keeping the customer happy.

    Great Ingredients
I was looking for dog food without seed oils, and I came across this brand. We’re now on our second bag, and while I can’t personally speak to the taste, Finn the Aussie and Lulu the Dachshund give it their highest rating.

I had to search for new dry food for my 8 month old Scottish Terrier as the food recommended by the breeder, she has not liked at all! Just for her to eat I would have to add either bits of chicken or vegetables if I wanted her to eat.My husband came across Open Farm when I asked him to go looking for good quality food for our fur baby. He told me all about it and I then went looking and read reviews and we decided it would be worth a try and happy we did!We have done the reduction of 25%-50%-75% and tomorrow she will be on 100% of Open farm Turkey and Ancient grains. You want to know something? Nothing other than Open farm and her old food have been in her dish and she has eaten all of the Open Farm and very little of the other dry food (which also happens to be ethically sourced fish)I don’t know if it’s the dry dog food she has been eating for the past 5 months or it is something else but her coat matts easily and as it does have a shine, it doesn’t feel like my other Scottish have in the past. Now what I like about Open Farm dry dog food is their commitment to using ethical sourced ingredients and have a commitment to ensuring they provide your beloved furry friend the best they can get. Short of doing your furry friend’s food, this is a great alternative to that. I have done my babies food in the past and even though it was time consuming, it was worth it! Now I have something she likes to eat and I don’t have to put anything else in her dish to eat.Thank you Open Farm from the bottom of my heart <3

I just like that my dog doesn’t like it especially because it’s expensive over $100.00 for a medium sized bag There’s another Brand called carna 4 and my dog loves it it’s a little pricier than this One by about $30.00 but they claim to use basically the same ingredients in both dog foods so why does my dog not like this food if it’s so natural just like Carni 4? That’s what i get for trying to save 30 Bucks but this day and age every dollar matters it definitely makes me question the Brand because my dogs refusing to eat it even with toppers she just eats around the kibble and eats The other kibble i’ve been mixing it with for a couple Days.. I did buy it I think just over a week ago but i just opened it the other day as Her Old food was halfway gone so thought it’d be the Perfect time to start mixing the 2 for 7 Days to get my dog used to the new brand… I was gonna share a picture of the uneeden food but what’s the point I’m ticked im out 100 Bucks And this is not the type of product you just give to someone else if you can’t use it so it was such a waste another dog won’t even get to have it.. I mean it’s gotta be better than walmart’s dog food but my dog is even eating that in the past but i just learned that purina is not a good Brand and stopped but my dog liked it so what is THIS BRAND That’s turning her off she also will not eat she gags on raw food so these are the only 2 foods i can think of she won’t eat just trying to give her the best possible diet for a little cheaper that’s why i add fresh fruits and vegetables and meat but i don’t always have the time to do that I wanted a great dog food as advertised
