Great Desk. You will need a helper to get it on its legs.
Great desk – just what I wanted.It is sturdy, well-designed, and has a large surface area, which I needed. The majority of reasonably inexpensive desks are too narrow for my purposes. This one is big enough for my computer gear AND a cat bed in the corner.It has a lovely shabby chic look and a clever paint job that makes it look like you found it in an antique store. It is elegant but simple, and it looks awesome in my tiny cabin, matching the wood walls and white trim beautifully.The top is manufactured wood, looks real, but is actually really tough material pretending to be wood. My cat and I both would scratch it right away if it were possible, but it is not – yay. If a thing can be scratched, my cat and I will immediately do so.The desk has a faux drawer for the keyboard and a real drawer, and it has two UBS and two outlet interfaces at the back of the top, which is very handy. I plan to purchase some inexpensive adhesive cord organizers to gather the excess cordage at the back to make them totally disappear from view.Importantly to me, the desk is long (cat bed) and also deep – room to loll against the desk. I enjoy lolling while using the computer and shopped for a deep desk for just that reason.Finally, it was shipped with Amazon’s usual military precision and professional expertise and was left right outside my deck door, which involved carrying it up a short flight of stairs. Thank you for your perfect delivery. It is one of the things that keeps me coming back to Amazon.

Perfect Desk
This desk was easy to assemble ( just had to add the legs with clear directions ) We placed a walking pad underneath and use it when the top of desk is lifted. Very sturdy , looks beautiful in the room ! Couldnât be happier with this purchase.

I had ordered a different desk prior and received it damaged. But I was needing to get another d/t work and classes. I saw this one and although beautiful in the picture I was worried, after receiving and putting it together I am absolutely loving it. It is VERY sturdy and it looks beautiful in my Study. Very Pleased and would recommend.

So far everything about this desk is exactly as promised. Delivery was on time and efficient, and product was extremely well packaged. Previous reviews are correct: The desk is very easy to assemble (open the box with the side “up” that’s indicated and read the instructions; we installed the legs while the top was still protected by the box) but the desk is heavy, and it would be best for there to be two people to lift and move it. It arrived undamaged, and the pre-installed drawers work perfectly. (I love having a keyboard drawer that “hides” the keyboard when not in use.) This is a well-constructed piece of furniture that is perfect in my home office. The surface is large enough for both my monitor and printer with plenty of room underneath for my shredder, wastebasket, and footrest. So far, I am very pleased with my purchase (the Amazon price was very good, too!). Highly recommend this product.

Beautiful and sturdy!
Iâve had other desks, and I just returned another one, that were made of pressed wood, and not very sturdy. This one is completely different. It came fully assembled, other than the legs, which was simple. Itâs nice, solid wood, not that cheap pressed wood stuff. And most of all, itâs beautiful!

Arrived broken, but Amazon customer service provided a refund
I purchased the lift-top version from Amazon Warehouse. It was listed as “Used – Very Good – Looks and functions as if it were new. Item may not come in original packaging.” Delivery was by Amazon.The desk showed up with cosmetic, functional and structural damage. It was missing more than half of its basic hardware (screws, bolts, etc.). And, while the top of the desk was there, it did not come with any of the lift-top stuff. I contacted Amazon customer support. They issued a refund.The desk is beautiful. The pieces seem sturdy. I plan to repurchase the desk. I just hope it shows up in the appropriate number of pieces this time!
