PURE OAT CRACKERS, NOTHING ARTIFICIAL: We only use quality ingredients. Our oat crackers use whole grain oats and, like our classic shortbread, are made from simple, natural ingredients for pure, crunchy and wholesome crackers that are slightly sweet.
OAT CRACKERS FROM THE SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS: Made with the same level of quality ingredients as our shortbread, Walker’s offers a fine selection of traditional oat crackers. Try mini oat crackers as tasty snacks, or enjoy our flavor-rich three seed crackers.
SCOTTISH BAKING AT ITS BEST: Walker’s makes a variety of shortbread, oat crackers, & other baked snacks from Shortbread Fingers & Scottie Dogs to Highland Oat Crackers & Scottish Cookies. Try our festive holiday shapes, or give our keepsake tins as a gift.
A TRADITION OF QUALITY: Since Joseph Walker opened his bakery in 1898, determined to make the finest shortbread in the world, the Walker family has been committed to using quality methods & ingredients, delicious flavor, and traditional Scottish recipes.

Customers say

Customers like the texture and tea content of the cookies. They mention they’re tender or crispy, and a terrific foil for both hard and soft cheeses. Some also like the ginger flavor and freshness. However, some customers have reported that the biscuits arrived damaged and were rather fragile. They dislike the dryness. Opinions are mixed on the taste and value for money.

    Great-tasting multi-purpose oatcakes
First of all, as Amazon continues to conflate reviews for various items under the listing for one item, let me make clear that this review is for the “Walker’s Shortbread Highland Oatcake Crackers.” Secondly, don’t be confused by this name. The company is called “Walker’s” and the words “Shortbread” and “Crackers” have apparently been inserted for marketing purposes. These are neither shortbread nor crackers but rather oatcakes, which can best be described as a cross between the two. They haven’t been made with butter and they contain very little sugar, so they’re not buttery and sweet like shortbread. They contain very little sugar but they also contain very little salt, so they’re not really like crackers either. They’re not like cakes and they’re not at all like Scandinavian crispbread. They’re unlike the oatcakes made by Nairn’s – which are harder and more bland, more like English water crackers – probably because the Walker’s contain a little sugar but the Nairn’s contain no sugar at all. The Walker’s may also have a slightly more delicate texture than Stockan’s oatcakes, though the Stockan’s are also delicious.Oat flour is slightly sweet to begin with, and these oatcakes make a great snack unembellished. Great with honey, jam, or roasted hazelnut butter (better than almond or peanut). When I want to wash down something sweet with my Darjeeling, I spread hazelnut butter on one oatcake and raspberry jam on another and then sandwich them. My craving is satisfied, and I’m not tempted by a handy supply of ready-made cookies. The Subscribe & Save price for these is great, and every package in the lot that I received shows a very long expiration date.

Were these crackers made from Peat Moss?
I’m sorry to write a negative review but I can’t help it. These crackers? are the worst crackers I have ever tasted. They are dry to the point of falling apart. They literally taste like they were made from grass or something. In the book series The Outlander they describe what they had to eat and these crackers taste like what they described….nuts and twigs!Even the sweeter round ones are pretty tasteless.Their shortbread cookies/biscuits are very good but stay away from the crackers.

    Delicious but fragile
I ordered two boxes. They’re great with cheese, much like coarser “oaties” but one of the two boxes arrived without a single intact biscuit inside. The other (I opened it immediately to check) had only one fractured cracker. I wouldn’t give them as a gift unless I checked them first — and I would be reluctant to give someone an opened box. As I said, they are delicious. But one of my boxes appears to have been kicked all the way from Scotland.

Ginger Scottish Cookies Wonderful Cookies – NOT Walkers Shortbread Assorted Scottish Cookies
The Stem Ginger Cookies are great!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. So I figured all the Walker Shortbread cookies would be good and I ordered a 3 pack of Walkers Shortbread Assorted Scottish Cookies, 8.8 Ounce (Pack of 3). What a let-down – now we have 2 unopened boxes of Walkers Shortbread Assorted Scottish Cookies, 8.8 Ounce (Pack of 3). I wonder if I can return them to Amazon-they just don’t taste good ;-(

    Taste good/cakes broken
The oatcakes taste great.But.The box end had popped open and oatcakes are mostly broken inside the sealed cellophane packet. Fine for me, but not for a cracker/cheese plate.

Brand ‘Walkers’ is primarily known for its shortbread fingers, petit fours, and highlanders. However, it was on ‘Amazon India’, that I came to know, that it also manufactures chocolate chip, honey, and raspberry flavoured biscuits. This assortment marks a break from the ‘Walkers’ shortbread, which is one of the more saleable products from the brand. This does not mean that these biscuits are not worthy in themselves. They certainly are of good-quality: my Mom, who prefers plain and lemon biscuits over chocolate and fruit-based ones, found these to be pleasant enough to be had with tea. This product can be tried at least once.
