Good lock
I like everything about this lock. The build quality is great. It is a bit heavy if you carry it in a bag but if you use the holder for bike /scooter it just sits out of your way until you need it.The key goes in easily and the lock functions great. The length is perfect especially when it comes with the longer safty attachment that you can put around another bike or just for double protection. I live in a big city and it has kept thieves away so far. I am very happy with my purchase and I am thinking of buying 2 more!

Sturdy and reliable lock
Got the lock and it feels good quality and material. However it is a little heavy but that comes with lock strength. It took me some configurations to install it on the bike though. Overall its a good find for the price.

Great quality bike lock
After getting a new bike, I started looking into bike locks for it. This lock came up as the first recommended lock on Amazon, and after searching around I decided to go ahead and get it.The lock itself is really good quality, and it comes with 3 keys as well as a card with a website link to register the lock in order to get replacement keys if necessary. The mounting system was fairly simple to install, but for some bike models it might be difficult to find a good location for it.The price was really good, but it was on discount for 60% off. Seeing as it is an Amazon recommended product and best seller, I imagine there would be plenty of sales like this. The quality is really nice and the cable works great. The only thing I wish was different was that the actual lock was a little longer, as my bike frame is wide and sometimes difficult to attach to bike racks, but it still gets the job done even if it takes a couple seconds of fiddling with it.

I absolutely love this lock and coordinate it holds my scooter safely without it being stolen and I’ve had great success with the lock while being at work I know my scooter is safe locked on the bike rack.

Big, may have to get creative to mount on some bikes, noisy when riding and hitting bumps
This lock is pretty big, so if you have a bicycle like mine which doesn’t have a perfectly level/parallel to the ground cross bar, or you have a “step-through” style bicycle, you will have to get creative with mounting thisThe mount consists of two pieces – one for each side of a round pole. On my bicycle, the cross bar is at an angle. Additionally, it is an oval-ish shape so the included mount would not work on it. Also because of the angle of the cross bar, there was not enough clearance for the entire U lock to fit in that space under the cross bar and in front of the seat post.Fortunately, the mount rotates, as does the mount’s clip on the U lock itself, which allowed me to install the U lock to the side of the seat tube and under the cross bar. While riding the bike, this doesn’t affect my peddling, but it does affect when I need to stop and straddle the bicycle (I’m short, and my seat is high up, so I have to dismount to reach the ground.)The mount itself is sturdy if you crank the screws down, which you really have to do to ensure it doesn’t rotate in place. The same with the tiny hex bolt that holds the clip to the lock itself.The thick cable provided is a generous length and allowed for me to tether both of my kids’ bicycles to my own bike and loop through my front wheel as well. The cable is stiff so don’t expect to try to wrap the cable around the U lock itself and carry it all together; it won’t work. I had to carry the cable in my bookbag. It has two velcro wraps to roll the cable up into a large roll.My only real complaint about this lock is that as some other reviews have pointed out, it is NOISY when riding. The U portion of the lock makes a loud and noticeable metallic rattle inside of the base when locked so whenever I hit a bump, it makes noise. I am working on figuring out a way to shim the lock with padding or tape or something else to silence it and will update my review if I figure something out.

A Very Good Budget U-Lock
This is a very, very good budget lock that is just as strong as comparable products that cost much more. If you want to deter bicycle thieves this lock is a great option. The lock might not fit in the triangle area of the bicycle frame but you can mount the lock on one side (left or right) of the bicycle frame.

Comprato usato come nuovo…Il gancio ad U molto comodo..non è grandissimo, al massimo ci metti una sola bici, ma è robustissimo, sicuramente se un ladro ha tempo riesci a romperlo,ma se si posa la bici per poco tempo in un posto comunque tranquillo , diciamo che fa pensare due volte al ladruncolo prima di tentare di rubare la bici.Lo consiglio
