This brace has been a great purchase. It has been instrumental in my recovery from tendinitis. The brace is easy to wear and very well made of quality materials. The only negative is that it is a little bulky but I was able to wear a backless shoe. Really a minor inconvenience. Excellent quality for fair price.

It does what it is designed to do
I have a sprained ankle on the inside of my right foot. The most common type of sprain is on the outside of the foot, so I didn’t know if this would work or not.It arrived in a neat plastic package with a set of pictured instructions and a link to the website which has a video to show you how to install it. The brace appeared very small and I was skeptical of whether it would fit my foot and ankle. It was difficult to put on as I had to use both hands to fully slide it over my foot and ankle. but once I put it on, I immediately felt the support it provided.It has super strong velcro straps. There is one for the top of the ankle and one more that you attach to the back of the back of the brace. This leaves two long straps that are criss-crossed around the ankle and under the foot to provide further support.I was able to wear a sock over the top of the brace and then put on boots to give me further support. I have only worn it for four days, but it stabilizes my foot when I am walking and is giving me some pain relief. It is expensive, but I think well worth the money so far.

Swelling can be problem if retaining too much water and trying to walk much after surgery.
Buying this unit because it is suppose to help with reducing swelling while my ankle heals, hoping it will live up to its claims and do what I want it to do,Follow Up. Received and realized I bought the M-L size, when I should have bought the L-XL size (case of swollen vs. UN-swollen while measuring); lucky for me I could sew in an adjustment to solve the problem.Wearing the Brace now, I can “instantly feel” how well this is working to compress and support my ankle, and after some 5 hours later there is NO-Swelling in the areas I experienced problems with earlier in morning.This brace is also helping center my foot solidly, on the sole of my VA Provided Diabetic Shoes, and the inside and outside Gel touching the ankle bone feel comfortable after walking a block or more. Different matter is sitting with this one for several hours, I noticed my leg starting to ache some, not sure if it could be related in some way (don’t think so) but the ankle is still comfortable, and worth noting: the surgical site on my Achilles tendon is not irritated the way the walking boot did.Over all? I would highly recommend this product (in the proper size) to anyone needing such a brace and support.

If you’ve suffered multiple ankle sprains and/or injuries this is a good brace. I don’t wear it all the time but I do if I am going to be hiking or working outside. I’ve rolled my ankle with the brace on and it prevented a painful injury. It’s washable which is great. Takes a bit getting used to but hardly noticeable with properly matched footwear. Velcro is good quality. Only knock I would say is limited sizing availabilities. I have big feet but skinny ankles so somewhere in between a medium and large would probably be perfect. The large is fine but it overlaps a bit. The medium doesn’t fit. Not the best for swimming or water activities because the material absorbs but it dries out quick nonetheless. Regardless I still wear it on the beach.
