Brindle Boxer and yellow lab, 2 different approaches
Our Brindle Boxer absolutely loves this toy! We got one of the small babble balls from a friend and “Baron” took right to it. Very funny watching him, once he realized that when he bumped or otherwise jostled it, it would talk! After about an hour of him tossing and “nosing” it around (not bad on carpet but on our hardwood floors, it can get a little grating), he started chewing on it. We’re like, “OK, here we go, how long is this thing going to last now?”. To our surprise, it’s holding up pretty well. He’s a chewer that can really munch down when he gets into a “groove” and it is taking a beating although it is not indestructible so keep an eye on it.There are 2 screws that hold the door in, which is crafted very well but be sure they are always in there tight. To avoid any issues, once we replaced the batteries the 1st time, we took out the screws and glued the door in and left the screws out. By the time the batteries are dead this time, the ball will be ready to throw out for sure. Not bad for longevity IMHO. Our dogs can chew a Kong ball up in a couple days once they get a crack in it. if there’s a weak point on a dog toy, our dog will find it!….:-)Our other dog is Dusty, our yellow lab. Sweet loving dog with that “lab” mentality”, all love and slobber :-)He looks at the Babble ball with mild amusement and walks on past it. Every once in awhile, he’ll pick it up but that’s usually only a ploy he uses when we’re petting the “other one” (A name, we’re sure Dusty uses when he refers to Baron). I imagine he would actually like this toy more, had Baron not taken it and cuddled it like his own new born baby the second it hit the floor and commandeered the 2nd one just as fast!! :-)The Small size one (A little larger than a golf ball) has ridges on it and takes a beating. Once it started looking haggard and the batteries started to die, we would put it up and only bring it out for short periods to prolong the life of it until we could find where these were sold. Baron had become “addicted to the darn thing! 🙂 He would whine and stare at it on the shelf for what seemed like hours until one of us would get it down and give it to him. Since the small one seemed just “bit small” for our Boxer for our tastes and surely too small for our lab, we decided to get the next size up. The Medium one has a smooth surface which also holds up very well although, that once “smooth surface”, will start to resemble a Tennis ball after a while but it takes a licking and keeps on ticking! The “Talking” is amusing for us for about the 1st hour but it is a little loud with fresh batteries and can be annoying when watching TV or talking on the phone. After about a week though, the batteries start to drain some and the volume goes down a bit. Baron will only pick it up a few times a day from there on out so when he gets in the mood, he’ll toss it around for about 15 minutes then leave it alone for a while. I can work with that. :-)All in all,We are impressed with the quality AND the “FUN FACTOR” for both us, and our Puppies! We’re Babble ball fans for life! (Can we get a discount, if we buy them by the case? 🙂

My cockapoo loves this toy!
My one year old cockapoo got this for his birthday. For the first 10 minutes he barked at the sounds. He fell in love though and played with it nonstop since it arrived. It’s been by far his favorite ball and he cries when it gets stuck behind the couch. We like the sounds, they’re funny. At night we have to put the toy up otherwise he’d be playing all night!

My 13lb dog LOVES this toy but…
My 13lb dog, absolutely goes nuts for this toy. He loves it and begs for it often. My only complaint is how quickly he breaks it. I bought him a small size because he is a small dog. He usually does not tear up toys quickly nor is he aggressive with toys. But this one, he tears up fast! I’m not sure if all the grooves help him grip it better. HOWEVER, I plan on purchasing the large or medium ball to see if helps! The toy itself can get pretty annoying because when he plays with it it constantly makes animal noises, however, I can say it does not randomly go off without him playing with it. Meaning, in the middle of the night you won’t be woken up by the sound of a screeching eagle or a cow mooing.

Computer games for dogs! Great exercise!
This is simply the greatest dog toy invention ever for big, powerful chewing, active dogs. NOT FOR INDOOR USE!This toy is the greatest. (One tiny flaw…see below). My 93 pound, super-overdrive, working dog would not be happy without babble balls. He used to be a tennis ball junkie. Now it is babble balls. Originally I found only the small ones and the ferret balls. The SMALL ones were not sturdy enough for a big dog. When shoved between the back teeth they were smashed like a nut cracker would smash them. (He did learn the frenzied command: “Not in the back! Not in the back!!”). Crushing them was unacceptable because they have the little disk lithium batteries inside.Fortunately the big size does not go far back between his teeth and they can’t be crushed, Should be good for most dogs…minus a few Mals or GSD’s with unusually wide and powerful bites and who are likely nicknamed “snakemouth”or “jaws” by helpers/catchers/decoys. You know if you’ve got one of those guys.My guy plays with them with me, and he plays independently. I would, btw, always suggest supervised play with these (remember the batteries are a potential danger). He plays with them when the batteries are still good and they are making those 20 animal noises. He plays with them AFTER the batteries die…although he prefers when they talk back.I would not suggest indoor use because if your dog is like mine what he/she will do is pounce with two front paws on the edge of the ball which will go flying like a plastic cannonball. Could damage windows, walls, mirrors, furniture, humans, other animals in the house. So beware. The good side is that outdoors it is as though he can throw it for himself, chase it, and throw it again. Sometimes he just runs around the yard with it making animal noises as he goes. Sometimes he hides it in the bushes or in the corner of the backyard orchid house and then makes a big deal over getting it out of its hiding place. Non-stop exercise. Can tire you out just watching it!The little flaw…these guys are not the best for the environment…UNLESS you recycle them. It is very difficult to replace the batteries because they by necessity have to fit VERY tightly. It is cheaper just to buy a new ball than to buy the ball new with batteries in it. I end up recycing a lot of a lot of plastic and lithium because he loves a new toy and so gets a new ball every 2 – 6 weeks. Oh yeah, the babble ball collection stays outside where they get rained on and wet by the sprinkler system, but just keep on working. Try one! Both the dog and I highly recommend them.

First hesitant, but now loves it.
Our puppy Noodle was first scared of the ball and wouldnât stop barking at it. After we brought ball close to him and had him hold it in his mouth, he wonât leave it alone and loves it! I havenât seen him this fixated on a toy before. The ball itself is a hard plastic material, very durable. It is quite noisy which is the point of it I suppose. Not great for my studying, but this will be great for whenever we need to distract him. Heâs been playing with it for an hour straight and I would definitely recommend.

I purchased this when my dog was a puppy and she loved it! She is 4 years old now and it is still her favorite toy. She lets me know that it’s time to play Babble Ball ( every day , even when I don’t feel like it.lol!) Durable and fun, all rolled in to one great toy!

My dog goes nuts over this and so do his little buddies lol

This toy’s animal sounds are VERY noisy and the ball is made of hard plastic which is VERY noisy when it hits the floor or goes down the stairs… one by one by one… BUT, my dog loves this toy and seeks it out each day… loves to toss it in the air and chase after it… so, imagine the cacophony of the hard plastic ball hitting the floor and the animal sounds squawking loudly in competition. Then layer on my dog barking with excitement. Yeah, I’ve invested in a good set of earplugs.

A Princesinha Babinha ( Pastor SuÃço ) ignorou a bolinha. Resultado, este brinquedo é excelente, está resistindo à s mordidas e acho que foi o melhor que comprei para eles até hoje. Ficam entretidos por um tempão.
