Took a Bit of Correction
It’s true what one of the reviewer’s had said, that this resin frog actually looks better than in the photo.The frog came in top condition.The coin however, was questionable. The plastic, reflective jewel in the coin appeared as if it had been scraped or sanded.I alerted the seller and sent a photo of the jeweled coin. The seller responded quite quickly and sent TWO coins to arrive the next day. Well OK, BIG applause for that – we don’t have much of an array of Chinese gift shops in my area, so we can just walk in and pick up a rustic looking coin and be done with it.Upon receiving the two coins, I experienced the quality of “Made in China,” by perhaps people paid in slave labor and conditions. ONE coin had a burr/tab on it, indicating that the way these coins are manufactured, the mold maybe stamps these coins and has them tabbed together in a metal string. I attempted to flex the thin coin in order to see if I can FLEX off the tab, but in the process, I found out that the coin was made up of some porous, brittle material – it easily snapped in two. The OTHER coin’s jewel was placed somewhat skewed. I had to gently/carefully pop off the jewel, and re-glue it back myself.Although it is not the seller’s fault the way these things are manufactured, I call upon the seller to really take the care of inspecting one of these frogs and the extra components before it gets shipped out.The seller deserves FIVE stars for being so quick in response, but I’m dropping a star for all the trouble one may have to go through in order to have one of these frogs intact.Believe it or not, like the other reviewer, I may also order another frog, and even from this same seller.If you’re a potential buyer looking at this review, perhaps you may want to ask the seller to really inspect the frog for quality, before shipping it out. It was kind of a pain in the ass for me to have to reassemble someone else’s workmanship.

Great Feng Shui Money Frog
I have my money frog in the southeast corner facing diagonal the front door and money has been good. He’s well made and part of the family now. No regrets on buying him. I would recommend this money frog to anyone interested in feng shui or anyone who just likes frogs. He might look nice sitting under a houseplant somewhere.

Very Cute Highly Glossed Money Frog, Happy w/purchase.
Very cute, highly glossed (resin?) which looks exactly as picture except for the coin. The coin is loose and on mine, the red gem in the middleis much larger than the gem it shows on the picture. It also tends to fall out of the mouth so a bead of glue might help secure it. The hind legsdon’t really show, but you can see what looks like a partial foot. If you look closely at the design, you can see a ‘strand’ of something he’s carryingin his mouth that lays across his back. It has some weight when you hold it in your hand – so it’s not flimsy.It was packed very well by the company. It had bubble wrap, foam peanuts surrounding it so the frog was securely encased then putinto a small red box.
