Made of Citronella essential oil and compressed wood you simply light the bottom end of the coil. It will slowly burn like incense sticks for more than 24 hours.
3 pack of citronella coils and 1 black metal holder. Each coil measures 6 inches in diameter. They are made of compressed wood and Citronella essential oils then wrapped with a black thread to help hold their shape.
Cool outdoor decor and great scent at the same time. Coils should be used outside only. Make sure to burn over a fire resistant surface, ashes will fall and drop as the coil burns.

Safe and out of the way!
Love it! I used to use the repellent sticks that you light and stick into the ground, but this past year I accidentally walked into one in the dark and burned my leg. That’s when I decided that I need something that’s out of the way and easier to see. This thing is great! I love that you can either put it on a table or hang it up. Just like other repellent items, it takes a bit to get it going, best to use a torch-like lighter to get it burning faster, but with patience it will light and stay lit. For those of us that are loved by mosquitoes, this is a great purchase!

Will work great!
My daughters and I get eaten alive each summer by mosquitos. My husband and the men in their lives seem to be left mostly alone…not exactly sure why? We want to continue having fun on the patio and in the yard just like they do and so I got these to help keep the mosquitos at bay. You can definitely smell the citronella, as I smelled it coming from the shipping box. I like the design, as it is not simply a candle or tiki torch that gets all sooty. I do wish I could hang this from the side of my gazebo shelter, but it works well in the center of the small cocktail table/firepit I have near the sectional. I think it will work great for the purpose and looks nice too. I recommend.

Difficult to light, difficult to extinguish but it seems to help keep the bugs away!
Because the coil has a long burn life, my biggest complaint is that it’s a bit impossible to extinguish it without breaking off a large piece. Also, when I light it I’ve accidentally lit multiple rows of this (several times now) because the coil is pretty tightly wound and it requires a bit of time holding the lighter to it before it ignites.

Doesnât smell of citronella
This doesnât smell like citronella at all. It just smells like burning wood. I donât think itâs scented.

Impressed! The skeeters were starting to bite last night and upon lighting a coil, 3 of us who usually get eaten alive were able to carry on for hours outside! Now it’s the morning after, came out for tea on the patio and started getting bitten again so I lit it back up and is definitely working for me. Hallelujah! Picture shows how much is left after burning for about 4 hours, I’d say that’s a good value.

Smells bad!
Quality is not as good as I expected the knot is super sloppy so it hangs at an angle. Also it doesnât smell very good

Citronella scent is very strong
Comes with a holder and 3 citronella wicks. You light it like a fuse and it slow burns. The citronella wicks are shrink wrapped, and the smell is very strong, so I’m sure these will be a powerful deterent for mosquitoes. Can’t wait til it warms up and the bugs come out so I can compare these new hanging style to my liquid in the bottle type to see which one is most effective. I really like the design of this one and if it’s effective I will stock up on them.
