The company that puts these together consistently does a great job of throwing in everything you need to respond to minor first aid issues and actually has made the bags better designed each time I’ve purchased. I keep one of these packs everywhere: work, my vehicles, at home. I personally upgrade all mine to include some additional BLS aid materials (which exceeds the scope of first aid and goes into EMR stuff), and the bag is expandable enough to support that readily, which is awesome. It’s got the materials necessary to support most first aid incidents at work, and the BLS style CPR mask with O2 inlet is good for saving lives in a professional setting.They’re cheap enough to just order a new one when first aid supplies expire and not have to worry about restocking individual items. The stethoscope is essentially a toy (can’t fault the company, a good scope would double the price of this unit), so if you’re doing serious blood pressure readings go get yourself a Littman, but I can confirm that you can still take viable blood pressure readings with the set included in this kit (albeit any serious ALS/BLS provider might laugh at you when they leave).All in all, if you’re looking for a good generic first aid kit that includes a wide array of medical equipment and aid supplies, this fits the bill. If on the other hand you’re looking for more of the “disposable” stuff (drugs, wipes, jels, etc) consider an alternate product as this pack makes space for the durable equipment at the expense of holding more than a handful of disposable supplies.

I’m surprised of the quality of the items in the first – aid kit not one items is cheaply made like other first – aid kit is . This kit is worth every penny you pay and more . I will be ordering another kit to keep at my deer camp . For those who’s wondering if this kit is worth it to them I say again YES YES WORTH EVERY CENTS . Cheap kit, could have more items.
Really really stellar for the price, with alot of room to expand. Includes some pretty pricey items. however, note:-Only comes with one clotting bandage for severe trauma. buy extras and stuff em in the kit.-Reorganize this puppy as soon as you get it, it all just kinda comes all dumped in there, you can make way more effecient use of the space, and make it easier to find stuff.-Stethoscope/Blood pressure cuff a little tricky to use. I would practice this, as it requires you to pick up your pulse on your brachial artery with the stethoscope. I might replace this with a digital unti and keep the stethoscope for diagnostics.-Penlight doesn’t seem to work at all, and in fact, I cannot open it to replace batteries. replace this. (I just stuck a cheap LED flashlight from radioshack in here to augment this)- If this thing is stuffed/ filled out, the top won’t close exactly securely. leaves a little room on each side for stuff to plop out. Not a big deal to me, I keep it in the trunk of my car so thatâs fine. if you are carrying/walking/running though, could cause grief.-Does not seem to come with a pair(s) of surgical gloves. this is a pretty big health risk, I would add these, but im not too worried over it as these are inexpensive.Overall, great place to start, but by no means does it match to the plethora of items you may have if you had an EMT bag.

Very interesting bag for family use
If you need this bag please understand it is for only a handful of patients. It is not meant for heavy issues such as 6 or more people. Yes the tools come in handy but for something very major it will not be for you. In my opinion this bag will be used for camping, hiking, minor accidents, slip and falls, etc if you have a shooting or major knife injury get ready to destroy this bag and possibly drop a few items. You might need to add some additional medical gloves along with some other items that will definitely be needed for something very major such as hurricane etc.ProsJust enough supplies for minor incidentsvery noticeable to find you bag or do some embroidery to identifyCarry with you and not heavy and doesn’t take up much roomConsNot enough suppliessecurity of the bag is a little weak but can use some strengtheningpocket sizes are fair but not enough room to add for major emergency equipment.

I was really impressed with this first aid kit. About the only item I will upgrade will be a better tourniquet and a suture kit. Everything else you need is pretty much included. I would recommend this to others, when it’s on sale.
