Nice backpack
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there is no strap on the back to fasten to the suitcase. That would be helpful when running through the airport. Nice backpack with lots of pockets to organize and a water bottle holder on both sides.

Subtle backpack for traveling or commuting
I’ve heard generally good things about Herschel but had yet to try one of their bags, until now!It’s a simple design that’s not going to stand out too much in a crowd (a nice thing in my opinion). There isn’t much in the way of interior dividers, which is a plus to some and a minus to others. I honestly think they went slightly too minimalist there, but not enough to knock a star off. I’m strongly considering making this my new travel bag, though I would probably need to find some sort of sub-organizer to hold things like phone chargers, cables, batteries, snack bars, etc. without everything being a jumble. I really appreciate the exterior water bottle pockets – my current travel backpack has one on the inside and it’s more annoying than I thought it would be.The construction feels very, very solid. Even apart from the lifetime warranty, I would expect this bag to be very resilient. I haven’t tested it, but it feels as though it should be pretty resistant to getting caught out in a rainstorm. The filaments themselves certainly won’t absorb water, and the fabric assertively (i.e. you don’t have to adjust it yourself each time) folds over the zipper openings.Laptop-wise, the built in sleeve fits a 15″ Surface Laptop just about like a glove. I doubt that it would fit any 16″ laptop, unless it was some sort of extra widescreen model.Aesthetically, I love the Raven Crosshatch – it comes off just as pictured, as a pleasant dark heather grey.
