I can finally breathe and sleep!
I’ve been suffering from allergies for as long as I can remember, my sinuses are terrible and I constantly get sinus infections. These last few years have been especially terrible, I wake up with sinus headaches and everything seems to aggravate my allergies. I also seem to have a nose like a dog, I always seem to smell things no one else can and these things easily trigger migraines for me. I’ve tried many things over the years. I take my prescription nasal spray and an antihistamine religiously, use nasal rinses and saline sprays. I sometimes wear a mask to defend against allergens and have air purifiers running constantly. I even started using a nasal spray with cayenne (hot pepper) to aggressively clear out the congestion.I am so grateful I came across these Vapor Soothers and gave them a try. It gives me such long lasting relief and has drastically cut down on the other remedies I normally resort to. After trying the first one, I was finally able to rest well throughout the night and woke up without even a trace of a headache. My husband woke up sniffling and blowing his nose as usual. I took a deep breath through my nose and showed off to him how completely clear it was. So he decided to try it too and was amazed at how soothing it was.The clip is really easy to put in and take out, but stays in good once it’s in. It’s also very comfortable, I often even forget I’m wearing it and I’m usually sensitive to things like that. It’s truly discreet as well, I hardly ever notice it when my husband’s wearing one. I notice it a little more on my nose for some reason, but I just like to pretend it’s a cute little nose ring and don’t mind at all.Sometimes if we’re already congested when we put one in, the congestion will break up and we’ll have to take it out to blow our nose a few times before it clears up. That just shows how well it works, and once it’s clear it remains clear for as long as we keep the clip in.Soothing is a perfect word for it. I got the peppermint one and it blends very well with the menthol to keep my breath feeling cool. As an added benefit, I’ve noticed the peppermint does work well to stave off hunger so I snack less in-between meals. I take mine out before eating anything.When I do feel like taking a break from it, I store mine in a small plastic bag so I wont lose it and to keep it fresh and lasting longer. It does slowly weaken over time but easily lasts the advertised 14 hours, usually longer for me. It starts out strong and occasionally it does sting the underneath of my nose a bit, but only for the first few minutes and because I have very sensitive skin. It’s still not bad at all and certainly beats spraying extract from hot peppers up my nose. I’d say it’s well worth it.And finally, I don’t have to suffer other strange smells anymore. When the clip is in, that’s all I can smell and it’s such a relief. Overall I’m in love with this product and can’t wait to try out the other scents too.I’d also like to add that ScentTech’s customer service is awesome. They responded quickly to my problem and more than made up for the little mistake. So I’m a very happy customer.

Great for congestion relief, but not so “discreet” color, in my opinion
These are definitely good for congestion. I’ve always had to use Zyrtec-D, which I can’t buy where I currently live, and the off the shelf decongestants just don’t work for me. This combined with regular Zyrtec isn’t perfect, but has definitely been better than most other things I’ve tried. They feel a little weird at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly.My issue with these is the color. Maybe I just got a darker batch, or maybe they recently changed the color, I don’t know, but “discreet” is not the word I would use to describe them. I understand what they were going for when they chose the dark tan/light brown color, but I feel like clear would be better. Part of the problem is it’s the end of winter, so I’m currently very pale–not everyone will have that problem. But even if clear wouldn’t “blend in” to skin tones, it also wouldn’t look like you have a booger hanging out of your nose all the time. I’d be ok with it looking like I had a nose ring, but that’s not what this color looks like. I will continue to use these at home, but will not be wearing them out for this reason, which is disappointing because they really do seem to help with seasonal allergy related congestion.I’d also like to see them come in an orange/citrus scent.

Just okay
I was excited to see these vapor soothers to help with breathing at bedtime. Also I expected to have more vapor or scent of menthol and the herbals. But the scent is so light itâs almost non existent. Lastly, it takes a little while get used to this little septum clip but after about an hour I forgot all about it. My recommendation would be to add more menthol and herbal scents to be effective. Overall, the size is right- itâs very small and light. The comfort was fine once I got used to it. The ease of use is A+- just pop out of the bubble package and place at nasal septum. These amount to about a $1.00 each, which would be a good value if I had more vapor that lasted longer. Did it make a difference in my breathing through the night? Iâm not sure.

Actually work!
Had to try these little guys when we had company for two weeks. They are small which worked for me. To my surprise, they actually work well. Comfort was fine but after using for a week, they did become a little uncomfortable. Iâd say fantastic for shorter lengths of time.

First, I’ve noticed a number of reviews from folks who are sensitive to the “burning” sense when they wear these small devices (that same sensation many feel when they apply Vicks or Icy Hot to the skin). So, while I don’t doubt those reports of discomfort, i have to say I feel no “burning” or other unpleasant feeling when wearing these plugs/soft clips. I got them because I’ve become very tired of waking in the middle of the night with a stuffed nose that then runs all day – I’m constantly blowing my nose. These are great – they’re hardly noticeable for others to see, the menthol smell is clearly there, I’m able to sleep through the night and am not blowing my nose all day. These are a keeper!

This product burned the inside of my nose within 5 minutes. In addition, the wintergreen is very faint. Mostly smells of eucalyptus & camphor,both of which I detest.Money wasted.

I work in a hospital and bought these to help with the occasional extra stinky rooms. They work all shift but make my nose run after a while. Does not slide out.FYI for people with picky dress codes: I wear a mask in rooms, but if you wore one without it I don’t think they stand out too much on the skin. It’s kinda a orange color but it is thin.
