The name of this product was a little confusing. It’s not an anti diarrhea chew. It will not reduce your dogs pooping. What it is supposed to do, is discourage dogs, especially puppies from eating poop. This can only work on their own poop. Somehow it flavors, for a lack of other terms, their own poop, to make it unappealing. This is how it works. I have a dog with a rather gross habit of digging up fresh cat poop in the yard, and snacking on it. I had hoped this product would help. But of course it can’t magically do that. I would have to feed the no poo chews to the stray cat. To sum it up, the product is good. Just make sure you understand how it works.

My puppy was in 3 month cycles of explosive diarrhea that would end in a very expensive trip to the vet. He wasnât eating well and wasnât thriving. Very thin. Picky. And would turn his nose up at food. I tried everything to get him to eat and couldnât figure out what was causing the bouts of diarrhea. I had him on other probiotics so I thought that it wasnât that. I tried different dog foods, elimination diets, home made food⦠everything that I could think of. I was hand feeding him and cajoling him to eat. It finally came to a head in August when my family looked after him for a week while I was on vacation. He came home to me 2 lbs lighter than when I left him and this is a dog that was only 14 lbs to begin with! I got him home and within the week he had his worst bout of diarrhea that ended up with me stumbling through a huge mess in the middle of the night and him whining to be let outside to continue to poop his brains out. I started to do more research on probiotics and digestive enzymes which led me to Bark and Sparkâs product. Well it has been over 3 months and no diarrhea. He has gained about 3 lbs and is filling out nicely. He eats every meal. I give him one probiotic enzyme with both of his daily meals along with a multi vitamin. He seems to like the taste. They are firm but soft enough to break apart. I break it in half because he is a small dog and he gobbles the pieces right up! He now wants to eat every meal. He isnât picky about his food anymore. I am not anxiously worrying about his health. This product has given him his appetite back and me my sanity back. He must have been feeling so poorly with how much he used to be resisting eating his food because now he paces for dinner time to come! This product was a game changer for us!
