There was a small packaging issue, and some of the oil he leaked out of the bottle, but not much was lost. It looks like the cat just came loose a little in transport. Beyond that he absolutely loves it. This is his first beard kit, even though he’s had a beard for years, and he really really enjoys it. The brush and the comb are very good quality and you’re getting a lot of really good product for what you’re paying. Definitely recommend.

Pretty good stuff
Nice little kit for basic beard maintenance. My beard tends to dry out and feel gross, especially after shampooing. The oil does a nice job of softening my beard and keeping it feeling hydrated. My beard is also in an “in-between” phase, where it’s pretty patchy in areas, but also unruly and wiry in others. The beard balm has done an excellent job of “suggesting” which way the hairs should lay. It’s not crunchy or gross, but it has some hold. It’s made my beard look a lot cleaner and fuller until it grows in the rest of the way.The brushes are also nice. I had never used a boar brush before, but it really is a gamechanger. Helps the hair lay the right way. I appreciated the wooden comb as well. None of the brushes/combs have felt irritating or overly abrasive on my skin. The scissors have been great for cleaning up the mustache area and any stray hairs.My one complaint is the scent. I bought the sandalwood. Neither the oil or the balm is heavily scented (which I liked), but there is a little fragrance there. And while the scent is not strong, it does stick around for a while. It doesn’t smell bad, but it didn’t smell very good to me either. Not the best sandalwood scent, in my opinion. When it’s time to buy more oil or balm, I would probably stick to their unscented stuff. If I were to buy the kit again, I would probably try the grey kit. It comes with the same items, but the oil is unscented and the balm is citrus scented.Overall, nice kit. It has definitely made my beard look nicer and feel better.

I initially noticed this product here as just the Oil alone in a Natural scent then I noticed the the thick Brush that was being advertised alongside it as one of those ‘People Who Bought This Also Bought..’ & then this kit/set popped up on Amazon after I’d listed the two products that I’ve mentioned & it was a no brainer really as you got a lot more for cheaper, plus it came in the Sandlewood Scent which I weren’t really looking forward to but that scent is lovely, it’s really, really nice!The tin as a whole is extremely compact but nothing inside is stuffed together in any way.I personally prefer the thicker Brush that’s included in the Kit/Set as the Comb works wonderfully but it’s small & fiddly so in my eyes I might as well just shave my face if I’m going to town fiddling around with my facial hair & I don’t want to do that as shaving is a drag I think everyone can agree with that yes even women as women have to shave their legs, etc & the hair is back in a day or two!I suffered from bad beard-druff recently which I didn’t even know existed & just one use with the Oil followed by a Balm use got rid of it completely!Sadly (pictured) my Balm turned up with a leakage but not that much had escaped. The smallest Brush is ideal for small beard trims as not very many beards grow evenly & the Scissors slid through a bigger growth on my left hand side of my neck without problems the Scissors are very sharp.It’s a great Kit/Set & it’s extremely well priced for all that you get! And it’s an obvious choice of gift for husbands, sons, nephews, grandsons, son in laws, I think that you get the idea.
