Perfect for fish stew and fish soup I would not do for stand alone dish.
This is a frozen fish so do not expect it to behave like a fresh fish. It just is not the same.Frozen fish has way more water letting go when thawed. It also does have a bit more rubbery taste to it bu nothing major.I buy this for years for my Moroccan, Sicilian, Brazilian and other Fish soups, stews and dishes including fish cakes. For this purpose it it is the best and cheapest source out there. If fits my needs perfectly. It is huge portion for very reasonable price. When I thaw it, I just squeeze the juice out and use as needed.Would I recommend it for baking, or pan frying? Probably not because of the different texture and how it falls apart being thawed but you can try. Maybe others have other points. I think that for dish that stars Code and is a minimally processed by you and will be close to original form, I would think it is not perfect for this.It works well with tons of other stuff like soups or stews o patties because the fish is bit brutalized by other flavours that complement each other and you can not tell where one flavor stars and the other begins because it is a just a bouquet and symphony of flavors. It is a very utility base fish for me. It is very solid product.Serves the purpose really well

Amazing value
These defrost easily and are an excellent value for the multi pack. So much less expensive than buying from the fish counter. They never smell âfishyâ so it seems like they are frozen pretty quickly after processing.

Just as good as the cod you find at Costco
It’s not cheap, but it’s not horribly priced either. The fillets are all similar sizes and consistent quality. I’ve made them steamed, fried, air fried, baked with lemon, and even turned them into seafood salad with shrimp and mayo and some miso. I’m getting hungry, lol.

Product Review
Slightly flavorless competitive light scent.

Not great
I’m a fan of their frozen Atlantic salmon. That’s why I decided to try this cod, but it wasn’t great. I cooked some in an oven, some on a pan. Both didn’t come out great. They are quite watery when thawed and that causes dryness when cooked. It was hard to keep it moist. It didn’t taste good.

Fresh!
These cod filets taste super fresh. They are super easy for dinner. Especially if you are normally cooking for just yourself. They are also a great value. I keep them in my freezer.
