Soft laundry
Love the softness and the scent is pleasant.No dyes or heavy perfumes to deal with just soft laundry. I would definitely recommend and buy again.

Amazing product actually softens clothes
Iâve been using this fabric softener for years now. I am allergic to synthetic fragrance and also have issues with eczema and this product is good for both. Please disregard reviews that say it doesnât dissolve when they place it in the rinse cycle, as the instructions clearly say to place it at the very beginning of the wash. Some people really either never read nor follow instructions, even such clear ones as place in washer with laundry detergent. Iâve included a photo of the instructions that come with this product. I will say that realistically not much fragrance remains if you put clothes in the dryer, but my hang dry clothes do retain a slight lavender smell and all clothes are as soft as a regular liquid softener. Some reviews say they clump together, but I just put them in an air tight jar and have never had an issue with moisture or clumping. When used correctly this product works extremely well.

Does not have a very strong smell after wash and dry.
Thought this would work in my front load dispenser. It does not dissolve there, so I have had to dissolve in a little water before hand. This along with no aroma will keep me from ordering again. If you buy this just for the clothes softening effect then go ahead and buy. It saves throwing away plastic. I will regretfully go back to Downy refill pkges that save on using plastic.

I have a 20 yr old Kenmore front load washer. I also wash everything in cold water. Dropps works great. I have never had any trouble with the pod not dissolving or leaving residue on my clothes, sheets and towels. I also never have had any static or static cling when I take the clothes out of the dryer. I’m ordering my 3rd box today.

High hopes, low reality
We are making a real effort to cut back on plastics and thought this would be a good step in the right direction. Here are a couple of key points.Packaging well it is better than plastic, but there was to much for the volume of product. I might have believed that the extra material was need to protect the product inside however….Opening. 20% of the small packets were damaged and the contents sliding around the inside of the box.Use. The first load the exterior shell never dissolved when places in the dispenser So no softener dispensed. Second use placed directly in the load during the start of the rinse cycle. The outer shell only partially dissolved.Tried opening the packets and adding the softener directly to load. When I pulled clothes out the were small pieces of softener stuck on them.Tried dissolving them in warm water first and they still did not release the softener. When I opened the packets and let them soak in the rinse cycle. The dissolved softener did not add much softness to the clothes.Overall high hopes dashed by poor performance.

These smell really good! They are easy to use and I like them so far! Iâve only used a couple times, but could see myself fully switching to these pods.

Only works at hot water temps but only barely.
I love the idea of powdered laundry products — better for the environment and frequently a better buy for the money. So, I was excited to see fabric softener pods. I tried them at first according to the instructions, with cold water and extra rinse, but the load of towels came out feeling sticky and gross instead of soft. Tried a few more times with worsening results. Ran the towels through with some vinegar to remove built up softener, then again with a pod, and same results. So I pushed these pods to the side as a wasted product. Some days later, I was washing my towels on hot and threw one of these in just to test. Low and behold, what came out was slightly softer than expected and not “sticky and gross”. Tried a couple more times and yes, the pods perform better in hot water then cold.BUT they still fall way short of the performance you get from regular fabric softeners like free and gentle Downy. I just really can’t recommend this product. It’s possible it’s the water quality here in Florida, but I’m not going to give these another try.

I had a few pods that broke inside the box when it delivered. Left powder everywhere and leaking from the box, aside from wasted pods. Looks like the film they use to hold the pod is too vulnerable. Otherwise, the softener seems to be working well and my clothes smell good after wash.
