I hope this doesn’t scare anyone away from trying these excellent pistachios, but I noticed a *very* pleasant olive-like umami flavor in these California pistachios. Now, while this might have been due to them having been processed in a factory that also packaged or processed California olives, I would bet that it is more likely a characteristic of these specific, Setton Farms pistachios. Like I say, *very* excellent, very fresh pistachios at a competitive price. Also, the burlap bag in which they are packaged is a keeper!

Nice pistachios, but I don’t think they are really any larger than the regular ones
I love Setton Farm pistachios. I buy them a lot. I tried a bag of these, which cost more. I did several measurements of weight and volume to compare them to Setton Farm’s regular nuts, and I couldn’t detect any difference. They do seem to be a bit fresher, and fewer of them are un-openable.

These are some of the best pistachios Iâve ever had. One will have a nutty taste, another will have a sweet taste and another like butter. The salt content is perfect and I keep them in a mason jar on the counter and the rest of the supply in the pantry. I never have them longer than 2 weeks ( donât judge ð) but they are always so good.Highly recommend these.

The missus and I love these things. I love the bags, too, and reuse them. It’s possible to get the same pistachios only in plastic, disposable bags if you want to save a little money, and we do that sometimes, but the extra expense isn’t a bad price for the reusable fabric bags.These are the best pistachios I have ever had. After having gotten about half a dozen bags of these from supermarkets and from Amazon, we have never had a single pistachio that was overcooked and burnt-tasting. The biggest, most common brand we’ve seen (and seen them everywhere) is Wonderful, and every bag we’ve gotten had several over-burnt pistachios in it. Every Setton Farm pistachio, by contrast, is even better than the best pistachio I’ve had from Wonderful, and the shells are pretty consistently easier to remove than a lot of shells in a Wonderful bag.If you’re a pistachio lover, get these. They’re frankly awesome. The wrong brand got the name “wonderful”.
