Nice collar
One of the standout features of this collar is its adjustable design. It easily accommodates various neck sizes, making it suitable for most breeds. The quick-release buckle is a significant plus, allowing for effortless on-and-off without fumbling. This is particularly beneficial for those who may struggle with traditional collars or leashes. I personally just keep my dogs leash attached to the collar at all times so we are ready to go whenever! When used, the prong pinch collar can be an effective training aid. It provides gentle corrections without causing harm, which is crucial for effective training. My dog used to pull me while we walked and has now learned not pull and is now able to loose leash walk. The collar is designed with comfort in mind. The prongs are smooth and rounded, which helps prevent injury to the dogâs neck. However, itâs essential to monitor how your dog reacts to the collar. Some dogs may take time to adjust, and proper training on how to use it is crucial to ensure a positive experience. My dog was nervous at first due to the metal but grew accustomed to it very quickly.

Best collar we have bought
I bought another model before and the metal started to give way after 6 moths. Plus the closure was difficult to close. This one has a good clasp that is much easier to close and open. It feels more solid but gives my dog a bit of freedom.

Pinch collar
Perfect for my large German shepherd when I walk him, doesn’t hurt him and he doesn’t pull. When I rescued him four years ago he was already almost eighty pounds and wild out with no training at seven months old and a trainer told me to get a lunch collar after I was literally drug down a driveway. The cheap ones fail but he hasn’t snapped this one yet.Heavy but not ridiculous heavy, good quality

Great for training
I have GS and she was pulling a lot when saw other animals on walks. So I got this collar and it’s been a game changer. Just a little tug on it and she corrects herself right away. She loves it also. As soon as I pick it up she gets all excited and knows that we are going for a walk. I like how it comes with rubber covers for the prongs to ensure no harm made on the neck. I don’t use the covers because I have the collar very loose on my dog. I like the adjustable chain and extra links for the prongs. This collar is really good for the price and the quality. It is very easy to remove and put on. It is very loud when picking it up. And if it’s loosy put on the dog and the dog shakes their head it is very loud. But overall it’s really good for the training.

Game changer!!
I don’t bother writing reviews often, but this product deserves one. I’d tried everything I could to get my lovable, exitable dog under control on leash. Gentler leader didn’t work, choke collar didn’t work, every training method I tried failed. Then someone told me about this. I was wary about it hurting him, but it worked like a charm right away. He’s now a joy to walk! He’s just as excitable but no longer pulls and is so easy to walk now!

I love and hate this
5 month update…. One of end tabs broke today!!! This is a huge issue it broke on the end link that there no extras. My pup is now nearly 8 months a 95 lbs. Without a pinch collar I can’t control her when there is another dog or distraction. If she gets too excited she will pull me down. Apparently I will be replacing this. But I am absolutely not happy about that.First let me say that I donât like pinch collars as I donât like hurting my pup. However I am now 64 years old. So itâs much harder to train my St. Bernard puppy. She has the strength to pull me down to the ground. With my previous saints I was strong enough to handle them.About the collar itself I love snap latch connector. Much easier than my old roommate who had one that you actually had to use the connector. This is much easier and faster. My puppy doesnât have the patience for the old style. This one she will actually sit still for the 30 seconds or so to put it on. She knows that this means sheâs going outside.Iâm not impressed with the chrome plating as it is already wearing off in many places. To get this to fit you have to take out or add links. Which is not an easy task. You will need a sturdy set of pliers (2). And some good arm strength. I did it, but it was very difficult. Iâm hoping to have a son or grandson help as my puppy grows and I need to add links back in.

Didn’t last
I don’t know if my German shepherd puppy is too strong or if the product was cheaply made. My dog busted the links and took off after another dog. He just wanted to play with the dog but still scared me. Good think he came back to me when I called him.

I have carpal tunnel in both my hands so standard prong collars are very difficult for me to take on/off. The quick release buckle is significantly easier to use and I love that it functions as a trachea guard as well. The bare tips are nicely rounded so they don’t require the covers provided but I find them helpful for keeping the collar from sliding down your dog’s neck.Over all it’s very well made and easy to use.

First Impressions was, itâs huge! I might of taken Small for my German Shepherd. I took off 4 prongs and now have 6 prongs spare. There are only 4 prongs left on the collar. Idk how it will work as it will only squeeze the sides of the dogâs neck. Best suited for large necked dogs. Top quick release would be better, bottom uses prong space so there are less points of pressure.

My 30lb golden retriever puppy (at 7 months old) started running toward another dog and the collar snapped at the hook connector site. These collars are supposed to inhibit pulling and stop them when they feel a pinch from doing so.I have another traditional prong collar for my other dogs and they have never broken.
