oh boy my yearly treat to myself
I am a Cajun junkie who can’t get enough of this crawfish which I have been buying over the years from this company. It’s fantastic and I use it to make etoufee, in Indian dishes, and of course spiced up with Italian flavoring. I love the taste. One work of caution if a person is allergic to shrimp they might not be to crawfish, BUT, recently a friend who had no allergy to Shrimp and Lobster broke out in hives with crawfish. I guess crawfish is not in the shell fish category but in a class of its own.

Mistake
I made a mistake on ordering these on Amazon, the vendor themselves admit in the Q&A that the shipping charges here are much higher than ordering from their own site, like double. Had I read the Q&A I would have realized these are not US grown, so when I saw China on the package it was pretty disappointing. There isn’t really a reason Robert Wholey & Co. can’t disclose this in the description, except for the fact that it would probably kill sales. I didn’t expect it to taste like fresh but I thought they were pretty watery and flavorless, needless to say I wouldn’t recommend or buy them again.

Why would anyone buy food from China? And at usury prices. You can get Louisiana crawfish for $20/lb. Geez, just look around and buy quality at a lower price.
