this seat is really handy. my dog is abt 12 lbs, and loves snuggling into soft spaces, so she loved this. she also has a more structured bucket booster car seat that is great for other reasons, but itâs not nearly as soft and cozy. more detail below (for those who want it). photos added to show color and size relative to a small dog.disclaimer/context for my comments – i use this in the front passenger seat of my car, and have never used it in the back seat. iâve only had this during the fall/winter so far, so warm weather isnât an issuepros:- one hundred percent more relaxing for my dog than riding on anything thatâs not secured- leash/tether works perfectly to secure in her harness and the length adjusts easily- goes in the wash machine!- easy to take in and out of the car- takes up less space if it needs to move out of the way (i can jam it in front of the feet of someone in the passenger seat in a pinch, which i definitely canât do with the bucket seat)- travels well- works perfectly as a dog bed outside the car, so pretty much dual-purpose- i like the colors a lot (i have the blue/whitish version, which is definitely more navy than bright blue)- the pockets on the side were useful for me. iâm constantly dropping credit cards, keys, and pretty much every small thing between the console and the side of my seat. when the dog car seat is next to me, i toss this stuff in the pocket sometimes and have saved myself fishing expeditions later ð. the outside pocket is great for leash, bags, etc- SUPER secure and doesnât move when itâs locked in with the straps- fits in any seat, as it doesnât need to lie completely flat all the way across to work well (again, unlike the structured, bucket/booster seats)- did i mention cozy?cons:- i don’t love the look of the straps across the seat – for aesthetic reasons and because i am weird abt leaving indents in my seats (even temporarily), i prefer using a seatbelt to secure a dog car seat/bed. overall, this definitely shouldnât deter a buyer who is interested.the dog loves this!

It’s PERFECT!
Only just tried this for the first time yesterday, but LOVE it! Or should I say, my dog LOVES it. My dog will happily get in the car, assuming she’s headed for a fun time at the park. But after 20-30 minutes, she’s whimpering – the dog version of a little kid’s “Are we there yet?” whine. She wants to be in my lap the entire time, so she can see out the window. Yesterday we drove 40 minutes each way and she was content in her chair. A couple of times, she wanted to venture over into my lap, but after the first time she did so, she decided it was more comfy in her chair. It lifts her up so she can see out the window. It keeps her from sliding all over on the leather car seats. The lining of this seat is soft and warm; she fell asleep on the drive home and didn’t want to get out of the seat. She let me get out and carry things into the house and didn’t move! It’s too early to judge how sturdy it is, but even if I have to buy a new one every year, it’s worth it.PROS:- Super comfy.- Keeps dog from sliding about or falling off the car seat during stops/starts/turns.- Handy pockets on the sides of the seat.- Easy to put together, easy to install in the car.- VALUE – well worth the price.- The sides of the seat not only keep the dog safe in place, but provide head rests.- Easy for the dog to get in and out of the seat because the sides are soft and not excessively high.CONS:- None that I’ve discovered so far.Saw a wise warning in another review about NOT attaching the lead in the seat to a dog’s collar. To use the lead, the dog should be wearing a harness. In a sudden stop, you don’t want the animal to be strangled!!

Nice car booster
This has a lot of cushion to it. I still used a blanket on top of it. My dog is 7lbs, so this was pretty big for her. It does take up the entire front seat of my car (Altima) and the door hits it when I close it. Because of this I put her in on my side. She likes to see out of the window which she could not do with this car carrier, but she finally settled down and seemed to like it. It is well made and seems like it will last a long time. The only thing I didn’t like was the outside. It is a really crinkly material which is a little loud when putting stuff inside the pockets. Overall I would recommend.

I like that this seat is fairly simple and wrap around and buckle to the back of the front passenger seat and around the headrest. I love that it is comfortable, like a bed for my dog to get used to it before trips and that inside the seat it a latch that connects with the dog seatbelt and harness for safety. The only downside is if people are in the front seat already, it might not be as secure since it canât wrap Aaronâs the back seats if an accident occurs.

The fastener to hold the seat in place is easy to attach around the seat back and keeps the seat firmly in place. Small 10kg dog has plenty of room and can still change position comfortably when clipped in.
