Fits my fatty wrist & works great!
XL fits me good… actually has extra strap. My wrist is about 10.25â, so not easy to find true XL size. Doc said it was perfect for my broken thumb. I wear it 99% time itâs been pretty comfortable.* only complaint is the hard part of the Velcro sticks to everything. Not helpful when the thumb piece gets stuck to a blanket etc. solve: I took pieces of the extra straps to fill in the unused Velcro spots.Just ordered a second one… clean one for social events LOL. Video shows my 4 week old well used one.

Does the Job, But Sticks to Everything!
Overall, I really like this brace. I had a softer brace previously to try to treat a grade 2 sprain, but it wasn’t sturdy enough to keep me from accidentally moving my wrist. This brace has much more support. I like the 3 adjustable straps (don’t forget to trim the excess or the loose flaps will bug you!) and the thumb strap has actually been more help than I feared. It is hard to sleep in. The inside material is comfortable and does not irritate my skin, but the outside of the brace is mostly the straps and velcro strips, which also stick to everything! I am always getting stuck to towels, blankets, and pieces of clothing. Even my couch at one point… I might make a quick sleeve to go over the top of it in order to keep it from catching on everything, but I feel like I shouldn’t *have* to.Like I said, this is a good quality product and well made. I can definitely tell a difference in my recovery after using it for about a week!

Great for people with tendinitis!!
So I got this because I needed to replace the brace I got from the doctor, and tried searching that brand since the brace was starting to smell. However this showed up looking the exact same. This actually works great!!! I have Tendonitis in both my hands, so I need to make sure that my arms have some stability. The thump split keeps my thumb in place and the brace it self is long too which is hard to find. The brace does seem to run slightly small. I got a large and it is a little snug, but ultimately it works great for me. The straps are starting to fray a bit, however all braces I have do that so there isnât anything against the braces on that. Would recommend.

Excellent brace. Well made, light weight, fully adjustable.
I bought this after an unfortunate wrist fracture. It’s the 2nd brace I’ve tried and I’m glad I decided to spend the money for a semi customized brace. It’s padded and soft enough to not irritate my sensitive post cast skin as well as sturdy enough to completely immobilized my wrist and thumb. It being winter I can’t speak about summer weather but it’s not hot to wear, doesn’t cause sweating. There Are three Velcro stabilizing straps on the arm as well as one for the thumb. There’s a molded steel metal splint that’s completely removable if desired. It’s well made but light weight. If I can be happy about wearing a brace I certainly am with this one. Very glad I splurged on it and would recommend for light to heavy use.

Seam sits right on affected tendon! Ow!!!
Itâs really a bummer. This brace is perfect in every way except that there is a thick seam sitting exactly over the affected tendon. I literally got electric shock down my thumb after wearing it for 4 hours and had to take it off. Otherwise itâs nice! Good stitching, comfortable fabric, good structure and design, thumb is immobilized in a natural position. But I think I need to send it back.

The First Rule Of Any Joint Injury — STABILIZE IT!
Yeah I’m kind of old. I will be forced to take Social Security next year. But that hasn’t kept me from working in the yard 4-6 hours each day in Southwest Florida’s summer heat and humidity. Most of my joints have been repaired or tuned up (athletic injuries) and periodically I get up in the morning with pain in one (or more) of those joints.Last week I woke up with severe left thumb pain combined with soreness of the wrist. I had dislocated that thumb playing basketball in graduate school 45 years ago. Ignoring that prior injury I thought that maybe my diet had given me another episode of gout, something that usually occurs in that thumb. However the steps that I take to treat gout didn’t work this time.So I ordered and began wearing this SammonsPreston Thumb Spica Wrist Brace. Stabilizing both my left thumb and wrist was both easy and comfortable, immediately taking out the random motions that were causing me pain. After a week of wearing the brace my symptoms disappeared and I was able to continue my daily activities –although very carefully.Since my wife has been fighting tendonitis in her right wrist, I also ordered her this same brace in her correct size. She can’t seem to thank me enough for helping moderate her pain. Now if I could only get her to wear it while at work she would find herself recovering much faster. This is a great product offered at a reasonable price — especially when you consider that it only cost you around $30.00 to avoid a trip to the doctor and the expense of any follow-up diagnosis and treatment. Obviously this won’t solve all thumb and wrist problems, but if you want to give the affected area some stabilization and rest, this will do it for you.

Left wrist is not the item pictured
A while back I ordered one for my right wrist and itâs exactly as pictured and I love it. Been having issues with my left wrist recently and have tried ordered this same product for the left hand twice now and both times a completely different brace is sent. Itâs all black and doesnât fit as comfortably. Very frustrating.

I have severe CMC deterioration with osteoarthritis. This is the best and most comfortable brace I have had to day. Just ordered a second one
