A nice surprise
I have a small collection of camping blankets that I used for different things. Most of them are “sleeping bag” material on both sides…lovely against the skin and plenty warm, but they are very slippery. I wanted a blanket that was sleeping bag fabric on one side but fleece on the other, to use over my sleeping bag on those super cold nights out camping. My existing blankets slid around and found their way off of the sleeping bag within minutes.This blanket not only has the fleece on one side which makes it stay on top of the sleeping bag, but it also has a fairly stiff shape. It holds it’s shape on top of my sleeping bag which is super nice. This blanket isn’t cushy and plush and soft, it is functional, warm and will do it’s job without fuss. I like that about it very much.The blanket has several string loops on one side and a fastener on the other end of the same side. I tried to “wear” the blanket around my shoulders and it was not comfortable for that. I am 5’7″ tall and the corners drug on the ground when I had it wrapped around my shoulder. So I won’t be using this feature. BUT…that big size means that it’s perfect for what I got it for…bedding.This blanket is surprisingly well made. It’s the nicest one that I have in that way.I got the “purple” one. It’s exactly as shown on the website…more of a periwinkle blue/purple rather than a true “collegiate” purple. It’s beautiful.If you are looking for a blanket for outdoor camping, picnics, outdoor sport games etc, I would definitely recommend this one. If you want something to wear around your shoulders to keep you warm, you might want to consider something else.

Great sports blanket
We use this for my daughterâs outdoor cheer games. We usually set the blanket on the ground for the kids to sit on. The one side is water resistant and doesnât seep through. The warm side does keep you comfy and warm.

Living in the PNB we get quite a bit of rain, today was no exception. With 2 baseball games we spent 5 hours out in the cold rain and wind. It kept me warm and dry and I appreciated the fastener. I bought the purple to match the team colors and I love it! I wasnât able to try out the zippered pocket but I have no doubt that it will protect when I do. It has some weight to it as it is lined. Bonus, it came rolled up in its own sinch-up cover and has a sinch-up plastic waterproof cover as well, thatâs a nice touch! I would recommend this waterproof windproof blanket!

Perfect for our outdoor needs. Works exactly as described. Nice color, really big and versatile. My only gripe is that very nice bag it came in is too small after you unfold the blanket. I will never be able to fold the blanket as professionally as it was done to ship to us. That bag will get some other use it’s too nice to discard.

The back is truly waterproof and the fleece is soft and cozy without being too hot for warm days. I used mine on wet ground with a muddy dog – no wetness and went through the washing machine no problem.
