Love it. It can be a little dangerous to tip your bread from the rising bowl into a hot pot that has been heating in a 450 degree oven for 30-60 minutes. Iâve burnt myself on more than one occasion. Also I donât really care for the parchment paper method. Sometimes the paper folds and is baked into the bread when you put the bread on the paper and drop it into the pot.This silicone mat is easy to put the raw bread on, the size of the mat is perfect for my pot, and the straps make it easy to put the wholething in the hot pot. No sticking and easy to remove once the bread is cooked.

Bought these for my wife, they work well for baking bread in a large cast iron Dutch oven without having to use parchment paper, also itâs easier to put in and out with the wings vs reaching down into the red hot pot to put a loaf in or take it out.

No more parchment paper!
I have been baking so much bread these days, and I have so many issues with the parchment paper all the time, it just drives me crazy. It either sticks too much, burns in the oven, rips, it’s just always such a headache. I see other bakers using these lately and decided to try them. They fit Perfectly into my dutch oven, have handles that will Not burn or turn brittle like the parchment, and they have a perfect non stick surface. I wish I had these sooner to avoid so many aggregations. Just happy to have them now as they are the perfect addition to my bread baking accessories and also give bread the perfect bottom. After using these silicone mats for a few months we noticed they started to fray along the edges. We didnât think much of it til they baked into the bread and while eating I pulled out a small clump.
