Very nice setup !
I just recieved this bag today and I love how mobile it can be. There are certain things in this bag that I may or may never use but I wanted a bag big enough to keep the necessities in along with other things while out on our boat during the summer time because well… you just never know what you may need while out on the river.It came with everything you could think of along with a catalog to see what else they have to offer, a thank you card with a coupon code on it and was very well stocked. I will however be adding a tourniquet, a box of gloves, my husband’s seizure spray, some medications for allergies and headaches, some better tweezers, a sugar tester and thermometer… again… probably more stuff than I really need but being a caregiver I feel as if I can never have enough medical supplies on hand.Overall appearance… I am very pleased. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this bag except for I wish the elastic to hold the scissors and light and stuff was a little tighter to hold them more in place and be a better fit but I can fix that with some needle and thread if I notice that they keep sliding out. The buckles on it are nice, it has 2 extra side pockets for stuff, it had a zipper inside where you can store stuff under where your scissors and stuff go, has a nice strap to carry it along with a handle on top and it’s very light weight.Other than that, if you are hesitant on buying this bag.. don’t be ! For the money, you really cannot go wrong and it’s just a matter of spending a couple extra dollars to invest in more supplies to stock it up as much as you want.

Simple enough product. Well equipped for what it is. Had enough room to add a few other items. Keep it in my car and it has come in handy numerous times.

Nice kit, even better company!
This is a great basic/starter kit with room to add and expand! I purchased to keep in my truck as I spend a lot of time on the road and many weekends camping/hiking. The bag seems to be made well enough, the seams are tight and strong, the zippers function well and there are no loose or frayed threads anywhere. (That being said this kit will spend 99.7% of its life behind my driver seat, not being thrown in and out of airborne medevac helos) I have no doubt it will hold up well.The included supplies cover the basics well, with only a few things I would personally add (some quikclot, chest seal, tourniquet ect) and the addition of the bandage refill was a nice touch.My only issues were the bandage shears and the pen light. The shears that I received were anything but “stainless”… they were a coated black steel made in Pakistan and already had rusted quite a bit. The pen light was the old, non-replaceable, one-and-done battery type. I contacted the company directly via email and had a reply IMMEDIATELY. Turns out some items (understandably) were back ordered and I was told the correct items would ship to me when back in stock. All well and good I guess, I figured I’d never see the replacements when/if they “came in”… I thanked them for looking into it and figured I was S.O.L.THE NEXT DAY I got a surprising email from Tara with a tracking number! The replacements had come in and been shipped to me within one day!I was impressed w/ the quality of the bag and included supplies, but was blown away by the customer service! I will defiantly shop/recommend lightning X products!

This is a quality product and contains the basics. You will get your moneys worth with this, but please research the items that you will need to add.
