I bought this set not knowing anything about the second pair of scissors. Who knew I would embrace these so much?! They are awesome! Yes, the ones I thought I really wanted – to replace the ones my wife permanently borrowed from me – work great and are very sharp.But, the second set, the ones with the rounded edges, are just as sharp and so much safer to put into your nose! I use these much more than the sharp, curved-point ones.

I had an old pair of the round tips that I lost. I purchased these as a replacement. They are sharp but I think they are not as finely milled as my old pair. Overall, they are a good value.

The ends are different on both pairs of scissors. I hadnt noticed that in the pictures, so I thought it was good to let people know. The second pair are blunt ended for clipping nose or ear hair. They will work for cutting other things, but do not have a sharp end.The quality is okay. They are not as good as the ones I get from a medical supply. They are not surgical steel, buy they are also not cheap garbage. They are a bit above average quality. I’m not sure how long the joint would last if these were used a lot, but I think you are getting a good deal for the money with these. I’ve had no problems using either pair.I use the nose hair trimming pair in the kitchen to cut plastic ties or packaging, since they are blunt nosed and not what I needed them for. The other pair with the sharp blades works great for my purposes.
