I’ve purchased 5 different ankle braces and will post this same review for each one.I was looking for ankle brace the would give the most lateral support.I’ve injured both my ankles while playing ultimate Frisbee. I love the game and will continue playing no matter what.Wearing support is now a must for me otherwise I easily roll my ankle on a sharp turn or at a stop during the game.So again, my intent is to use ankle support for already injured ankle while playing active sports.Brace that only helps to “prevent” injury is useless, I’m already injured.Here is my list.1. Best brace Iâve ever used
Iâve used a number of ankle braces over the years to support my ankles after spraining them frequently playing basketball. This is hands down the best braces Iâve ever used. My most recent pair I had were the ASO brand braces, and I ended up with an avulsion fracture on my left ankle after rolling it playing basketball with the brace on. The ASO also definitely limited my mobility while playing basketball, and I feel like these braces do a much better job of allowed a free range of motion while fully protecting my ligaments.I read some reviews saying these donât fit in shoes well – I disagree. They are a little wide around the ankle, but I had no problem wearing these with basketball, running, and work (dress) shoes. They fit very well and felt amazing.
