Great Product
I am trying to eat more vegetables and less carbs but I was craving lasagna, this was the perfect replacement for the noodles. They aren’t exactly like pasta, but much closer than using zucchini or anything like that. I am a fan.

Nice noodle substitute
Tired this because my family loves heart of palm. I was going to try the regular pasta shape, but wanted to try the lasagna recipe.The “noodles” were fine straight out of the can and tasted nice in the lasagna as well. They did have an under cooked pasta texture to them which made it a bit hard to cut the slices, but over all, it was good.

Can or Bag? That is the Question
First off, my wife and I totally love Palmini products, so let’s get that out of the way. We enjoy their Angel Hair, Linguine, and Lasagna noodles. It’s pretty amazing to have such a great quality wheat pasta alternative, and totally gluten free. Both the can and bag versions are identical so really it boils down to how you want to store them in your cupboard 🙂 Either way…get ready to enjoy some delish pasta!

Cans damaged prior to packaging
I’ve used the product before. Taste is not the issue. It was received in a box from the manufacturer and the box was intact. However every can in the box was denied in random dents. All 6 cans

Love Palmini BUTâ¦..
I love this product but anyone who says a lasagna palmini recipe tastes like the real thing is a better chef than I am. It made a very nice substitute with my portobello mushroom bolognese skim ricotta and skim mozzarella but I will use Banza chickpea pasta next time for a more authentic lasagna mouthfeel. While the texture of palmini was fine it clearly tastes vegetal. Still, I love the product and like all the other varieties I tried. Looking forward to trying the angel hair which I bet will best mimic the real thing.

Damaged cans
3 of 6 cans are dented. Not eligible for return. They are cans pretty sturdy, let’s try to be alittle more cautious w peoples orders

Love regular Palminis. Great pasta replacement when covered in sauce. However the lasagnas just do not work.First of all, they are saturated with liquid, they dont soak anything while cooking, so you end up with a super liquid lasagna.Second, the sheets are so small, like, 3 inches by 1 inch or so. You get 16ish in a 14 oz can and you’ll need a full can to do a two portion lasagna in a small pan. If you’re planning to do a family sized lasagna you’re looking at 3-4 cans of of the stuff and they don’t come cheap.Lastly, there’s the form factor, Palmini work great as small noodles because the smaller size means the more fibrous nature of the noodle isnt noticeable. Their angel hair is great. The lasagna sheets however are chewy. You can boil them like the package says (and you should), but even then they’ll be so tough compared to lasagna noodles. And they’ll have a texture that’s very different from pasta, which again, less noticeable with the smaller stuff.I love Palmini products but this is a skip.

I used 2 cans for a huge pan of lasagna, the taste is very neutral they donât interfere with the flavour of your food. I would recommend them
