Excellent Ear Tool
This instrument works very well. It identified my husband having an ear problem with hearing, due to heavy build up on the ear drum. Took him to the doctor and got it cleared. Very easy to use and there are pictures to show you, what may be a problemâ¦

Works as it should and worth the money
It works as it should. The light is bright, and the case is of good quality.Only two tips for making it better for ease of use.1. You cannot leave the tip on and put it back in the case. So, storing it and using it repeatedly can be annoying unless you leave it out of the case, but I like it.2. The button to turn the light on is in a weird spot and hard to turn on as it slides. (The one I replaced with this one had a button on the bottom, and it was much easier to use and not accidentally turn it off).Not enough to prevent me from purchasing again, but it still would be great to see it changed when updated.

The switch seems better than most, the cap is threaded rather than press-on, and quality good. Light is brighter than my $300 Welch-Allen was, and whole scope cost less than the WA batteries did.

Good for home, not for formal use.
This otoscope would work well for home use to take a quick peak in ears but would not recommend for any formal setting. The light flickers off after a minute or so but usually will come back on after flicking the switch off and back on. Itâs small and stores easily and has a nice pouch/carrying case to keep everything together. The otoscope tips are great for small ears.

It was a bit of a struggle to figure out how to put the bulb and batteries in because there were no instructions included, but once we sorted that out we found it to work very well. The light was bright and the optics surprisingly clear.

What youâd expect for the price. Itâs not like one in a drs office, but itâs good enough to see if you child has a raging infection and needs to be seen right away, or if you can watch and wait (and avoid unnecessary doctors office germs!).It seems cheaply made, and it didnât even work at first, but then suddenly started working. Comes with options for all different ear sizes, carrying case, and an extra light bulb. Does NOT include batteries! Overall happy with the purchase so far, as long as it continues to work.
