The Ratio Soft Baked Chocolate Brownie Bars are a decent snack alternative for those looking for keto treats or trying to keep their blood sugar in check. The chocolate flavor itself isn’t bad and they go a long way satisfying the occasional urge for a sweet treat when it hits. The texture is pretty dry and they are a bit crumbly, and there’s no mistaking the somewhat chemical taste of the artificial sweeteners. If you have to have a sweet treat, this will do, but you won’t be fooled into thinking that it’s anything other than the keto/low sugar option that it is, and (seemingly) like all keto foods, it’s a bit pricey to boot.

A recipe for diarrhea and chemical after taste
I also had high hopes for these, guess the advertising and packaging was very convincing. I picked them up from the mall and was already already craving brownies. Wasn’t gonna wait till I got home.long story short. Its only through my hunger that I managed to finnish one, but, the taste was very stale, you can literally taste all the poorly mixed sugar alternative ingredients.Moments later, the sensation of a runny tummy hit me. I drove home with clenched butt chicks and the whole drive felt like an eternity. luckily I survived, and immediately disposed of it. Never again, its better to eat the real thing and just limit your calories or exercise after.

OK, so each bar is supposed to be 100 calories, which I doubt, but hold that thought.Each bar has 11 grams of carbs, which translates to 44 calories. That means you get 44% of your calories from carbs. If all you did was to eat these bars for your 2000 cal daily requirement, you’d be taking in a whopping 220g of carbs everyday. Even the most relaxed keto diets need you to go no more than 50g of carbs a day.Yes, yes, joke’s on you if you think these bars are some kind of replacement for a keto diet, but my point is, do not be fooled into thinking that you can eat these without worry just because it says “keto” on the box. This is exhibit A on why words like “keto” need to be regulated in marketing.Now onto the calorie math. Per bar, It has 9g of fat (81 cals), 11g of carbs (44 cals), and 3g of protein (another 12 cals), for a total of 137 cals, not 100 cals.This is just false marketing guys. Don’t be fooled. No wonder the reviews are from people who are either singing praises of how good they taste or disappointed that the cookies aren’t moist enough. Looks like the reviewers are all folks who have a hard time holding themselves to a true keto diet.
