Winter Cycling Gear

Polyester
Great for Cold Weather Cycling: The bike handlebar mittens are made of 3M THINSULATE cotton and thermal fleece inner, Keep your hands snug and warm without gloves, even riding in below freezing temperatures.
Good Windproof Performance:The pogies have pull straps that cinch up around the cables/handlebars at the end – that keeps a lot of cold air out. The outer layer is made of windproof and splash-proof polyester. (Note: Avoid prolonged rain, the stitching is not waterproof.) They are big, and go part way up your arm, keeping cold air out of your coat sleeves.
Enough Space:Easy install and keeps hands warm and your hands are free to operate brakes, gear shifter, and peddle assist on your e-bike. Makes winter commuting more bearable and safe.
Humanized Design:the reflective patches and printing on the gloves greatly enhance visibility. it had the handlebar end plugs inside to secure the mittens to the end of the grip. They hold their shape during hand entry and exit. opening up the zipper they were vented sufficiently to ride in higher temperatures without getting hot.
MULTY-APPLICATION: The handlebar mittens has a widely application. It could perfect fit on mountain bike, e-bike, fat bike, commter bike etc. If you have any problem, please let us know.

    Well worth it!
I bought these with hopes they’d do well for me, in the cold. So far, I’ve had them installed on my bike for a for a few weeks, and haven’t had much for temps below 25 degrees F. They’ve definitely kept my hands VERY warm without any gloves at all. A little too warm a few times, actually. They stop wind extremely well, also. It’s not even noticable on the hands. Provided the wind is just right, you might get a little cool coming in from the small openings left after sinching down the drawstrings around the handlbars and cables. But, it’s really not enough to worry about, or so I feel anyways, so far.I do wish they were slightly roomier around the hand and brake lever area (hence why I put 4 stars for comfort rating). But, they are alright and I can very much make due with them as is. I like the reflective areas of them, as it provides more areas of visibility to one’s bike and self. I also like the zippered pouch feature on them.My only concern with using them, is in the event of a crash being able to get my hand/hands out quick enough to help catch myself. Otherwise, I have no complaints about these.Would I buy these again for another bike? Absolutely! I will update later, after I have gotten more use out of them, to give feedback on durability.Update 1- 12/30/2023- these are waterproof. However, mine did get wet inside. I’m not sure if it’s from moisture rolling down my jacket sleeve and into the bar mitts. Or if it was coming from the seam(s) near where the brake lever/fingers would be. Upside, that is the only area the was damp/wet and oddly enough, I still had nice warm hands. So, I can’t complain. Especially since they dried out very nicely and quickly with aid of a fan. I put a fan blowing over them, while they were propped open, and an impressive 5-6hrs later they’re 100% dry inside. As far temps go, I have been riding in temps down to 17°F with real feel of right around 10°F and have had no problems yet. The vents are nice, and if the vents only aren’t enough, I’ve just been opening up the drawstring around the handlebars.

    Get these!
Overall very durable, water resistant, and WARM! No need for gloves, as they cinch tight to the handlebars allowing plenty of room for access to brakes, shifters, etc. I have the mitts on during the winter months in the Pacific Northwest, so they work just fine in cold & damp conditions. Recommend!

FINALLY I can ride with warm hands!
I have struggled very hard to find bar mitts or gloves that would allow me to cycle in cold weather and wind, around 20-30* F (before windchill) and winds around 25mph. I tried Bar Mitts Extreme, which allowed tons of wind and cold air in through the section that fits onto the handlebars. I tried gloves and splittens from Hestra and Gordini that were insulated and windproof, but they couldn’t do the job. I tried the Bar Mitts along with the gloves, and that kind of worked ok, but it was bulky and still cold.THESE are just perfect! The section on the handlebars cinches shut, and while it is not a perfect seal, you can block out just about all the wind. I ride with these wearing either bare hands, or just normal thin cycling gloves, or even very lightly insulated cold weather work gloves. My hands are actually WARM, and its amazing!Yes, these bar mitts are kind of floppy, but that doesn’t bother me. There are two handlebar holes for mirrors, though I was not able to install my handlebar ends (look like cow horns), which is not a big deal either. Installation was easy, though moving shifters and installing mirrors may be annoying if you’re not familiar with doing that.I would certainly buy these again, amazing product!

    No more numb fingers.
After going through numerous types of gloves in variety of materials and prices to continue riding into the winter months. No matter what I tried my hands and fingers would be very cold to numb before getting home. Finally researched other options and discovered these mitts AKA Pogies. A recent artic blast in Denver dropped the temps to -6. Took the bike out to test the the bar mitts and only wore wool glove liners inside the mitts and my hands stayed warm through out the ride. I was able to easily operate the brakes and the Ebike controls. The mitts are high quality and well made. They attach to grips for a nice look and easy access. Put these on your bike. You won’t regret it.

    Good value
I ordered these to use with my e bike for winter riding in Maine. They do the trick with mittens underneath (have biked in the teens!). It’s important to note that if you plan to use with an ebike, you may have to cut/ modify the mitts to fit over your odometer screen. Overall love them!

    These work great, super warm
You better wanna be warm-hot, at least in a bicycle. Took these out in 15*F and I was sweating. Dries relatively fast, doesn’t seem to get moldy or smelly yet (10 months or so in)

Rode them down to 0F with medium gloves on, was comfortable. Around 32 F i have to remove the gloves, gets too hot. Installation was easy

    Not Waterproof!
In the description it says that they are waterproof … they are not! My hands got soaked in the rain with them. I am very very dissapointed in these and i wish i would have spent my money on something truly worth it.Update: the seller has tried contacting me saying that they do not state that they are waterproof however it does say the fabric is waterproof and water was coming straight through the fabric on to my hands. DO NOT BUY!

These are amazing! I have huge hands and they fit comfortably inside. They feel like the inside of a blanket. I commute to work by bike and wore them through a gusty day at -2 and even with wind against me my hands were warm. One note: my bike is stored outside and is cold before I ride. The handles/handle bars/shifters are all freezing cold because the bike is stored in freezing temps during winter. So I did find my hands were cold but nothing to do with the product. So I’ve ended up wearing very thin gloves to insulate my hands from the cold bike, and again, my big hands have all the room they need and they are warm. Product is very comfortable. I also was able to keep my mirror installed on the outside of the glove.I highly recommend! A must have if you ride in winter regularly!

As someone who bikes to school and work everyday, these are actually the greatest investment I’ve made in a long time. They are so warm and waterproof, and the reflectivity also makes me feel safer with cars at night.

Does what they are supposed to do. Nicer than the original Rockbros version…not as “floppy.” My buddy has the 45nrth and these perform as well (…if not better!) thane the $200 ones. The expensive ones have a metal grommet where the bar plug is inserted in the bar end creating a cold spot. The Rockbros uses a plastic/pleather like material (does not look as durable as the metal grommet) but there is no cold zone created. They are 100% windproof. My only criticism would be that they are still a little “floppy”…if there was more rigidity build in they would be perfect! But at the end of the day these are the best value for money out there…unless you NEED to have a “name” on your gear!
