Absolutely the Best by far!
I am the primary care giver for my 90 year old mother. I have waited several weeks to write this review so that I have an accurate opinion about it. This is the 4th style of elevated commode seat we have tried and this one is by far the very best. Her bathroom is quite small and this is the only one that is stable without having metal legs that go to the floor and get in the way of the wheelchair. The armrests can be folded upwards and out of the way when I am trying to lift her back to her wheelchair. It is unbelievably easy to clean and does not allow urine to trickle down the side of the commode onto the floor. The others do not come close to this one in design, comfort and efficiency. Well worth the price.

Effectiveness, comfort, and ease of installation
The REAQER Toilet Seat Riser is the Cadillac of handicap toilets. It is extremely functional and and allows more flexibility for comfort than most other seats. I replaced a less expensive seat and was impressed how well the Reaqer fit our toilet and how sturdy the riser was. Bolts are provided for both internal or external attachment to your existing toilet and provide a non-moving base for use. It’s easy to clean because the front lifts up to wash the rim of the toilet to which it’s mounted. The deep internal well on the inside keeps water splashes to a minimum.It looks good and works better.I can’t judge its’ longevity but it is well engineered so it should wear for a reasonable time.It also costs about 2.5 times our original seat but it is definitely worth it.

Great Quality/ Leak Proof!
This is the most amazing raised toilet seat and my mother absolutely loves it! She was upset about the other ones leaking at the place they meet the actual toilet. She would be very upset that there was urine leaking and couldn’t clean it up and as much as I adjusted the old one it never worked. This seat is AMAZING because it actually goes inside the toilet a bit and prevents that from happening. It is also wonderful that it can be lifted up and cleaned and that the arm rests can be lifted away if not needed! It is the only seat I would recommend! The only thing that she complained about is the seat lid not being as strong as an actual seat lid. When it is down and she sits on it she noticed that it bent in with her weight (225 pounds). If there is a way to improve the lid for future users, I would recommend it to the manufacturer.

Broken right out of the box
No visible damage to the box. Unfortunately one of the knobs were broken in half. The device design overall is flimsy and doubtly going to last very long. The plastic parts that should have reinforcement are just injection molded mostly to the same thickness. Which is not much. But, so far it does seem stable once you get the correct configuration. Its relatively easy to adjust the height. The arm rests make me nervous. ONLY thing holding them in place is a push button that rests on flimsy plastic. You would think it would attach to the bar that holds the back part onto the toilet itself. But, it does not it just rests in one of the flimsy holes. Really bad design flaw. You should have a bar that goes all the way across and have those mounting points reinforced and the push button lock into the bar. Also support the bar in some way as to transfer the weight to the toilet. Also make an adjustable section that fits on the front most portion of the toilet to allow the user to make it more stable. That stablization section should be rubberized and height adjustable to follow the contour of the outer and inner part of the toilet bowl. Since it feels like if you were to twist while trying to clean yourself the device would flex too much. Now the access is relatively limited. One would have to partially stand to wipe themselves. Its not ideal. I have a feeling I am going to have to be cleaning this much more than I would like…

It fits perfectly
I researched every one and read almost all the reviews on each similar type that was listed. Going back and forth, finally deciding on this one. Reasons: how it would fit on either a toilet with elongated seat or regular one. The snug fit is how the ânut and boltsâ secure from the holes on the toilet. My husband is so thankful because with 3â riser with handles heâs able to move off easily. He wasnât sure about the riser, but says it was the right decision he couldâve made. If youâre in the market for toilet seat with bars without the cumbersome of legs, needing to wash around legs on the floor, get this one! I wasnât paid for this review. Just letting people know who are looking for this type of toilet seat with barsâ¦.look no further. P.S. Iâll update as time goes on. Only had it go 2wks. No slippage!!

Great seat for my 96 yr old Grampa!
I installed this myself, it was easy. I did look up a video on the installation just to be sure I was doing it correctly. My grandpa is 96 and he thinks it’s perfect. Very sturdy. I like that it’s adjustable too! Overall seems like a really good investment.

Double, triple check the fit…
Seat is nice, adjustable heights, fold away arms are nice feature, and being able to lift everything up for cleaning is good. The fasteners for affixing it to the toilet don’t seem adequate. Used short screws with anchor plugs first, seemed sturdy but mom nearly had a fallwhen one side of the seat pulled out while she was getting up on the 2nd day. Long bolt connection was used next but had to add a real metal nut crammed inside the plastic to achieve a solid and sturdy connection to the toilet. The seat should remain in place now with this slight modification, not sure why it’s designed the way it is except for cost savings/production ease with plastic only contraption to screw onto the bolt.

After trying different types of toilet seat risers, weâre so glad to find this perfect one. Itâs screwed in, making it very secured and stable. Itâs of right height for my parents. The handles are perfect and stable for support. The lid is great – closing it when flushing the toilet makes it much more sanitary. Itâs also easy to maintain and clean. Strongly recommend!

This was purchased for my mother, who is in her early 90s, after trying a couple of other options.Once the old seat was removed, this seat mounts to the bowl with two bolts, just like an ordinary seat, which makes it very secure. The handles/arm rests provide extra support when needed, and yet they can easily fold back next to the sides of the tank when not required. One of the three fixed seat heights was comfortable for her, so having multiple options, rather than one fixed height, was great.This is a great option for a loved one who needs something different to retain their independence and dignity as they age. Presumably it would also work well for someone who temporarily has to have something higher post-surgery.

Two bolts and it was installed. The seat height is adjustable from 2″ to 6″ of additional seat height. The handles flip back out of the way, but are forward enough and sturdy enough to help my Mom get up off the toilet easily. The entire seat lifts up for very easy cleaning of the seat and bowl.It’s exactly what we needed! Thank you so much!

This is a great product – very easy to install and sturdy, and well designed – easy to clean.We tried another seat before this, that sat on top of the rim, and we were constantly having to clean under it as fluids flowed along the rim and down the side of the toilet (ugh).This seat is designed such that it extends into the toilet bowl, which keeps fluids from flowing out along the rim of the bowl. No more nasty smells or cleanups, and the handles are very sturdy.The built in toilet seat is a nice touch as well, and overall the product gives a more civilized look to the bathroom.Highly recommended!
