Looks dry not oily.
This stuff is great. It dries within a few seconds and does not make my skin look or feel oily at all. After using it for a while I have noticed my scars are less visible. The bottle comes with a lot and is a great deal for the price!

Effective
I used Mederma when I was little kid and it took awhile to improve my scar but it worked. Fast forward 20 something years and their products have come a long way. It not only works, it works a lot faster. Noticeably improved scars after just a couple weeks! Purchased after a medical procedure that left me with a large scar. Also started using it on a couple of other old scars and already notice a difference with those too!

Real life expierence with Medera Quick Dry Oil
I have been using âMederma Quick Dry Oil, Scar and Stretch Mark Treatmentâ since Feb. 2024. My experience follows. On 8/18/23, I was on travel and fell, resulting in a bad, 4â diameter abrasion on my knee. It took weeks to close up and begin to heal. Iâm so talented, that 8 weeks later, I fell again, opening that wound and again, weeks to close up. This product promises âquick dry oil.â It definitely is better than the vitamin E oil I tried to use! If you remember any biology class from high school, you may realize that our skin takes years to rejuvenateâinside to outer layer. I applied Mederma oil approximately 3-4 times a day for 10 solid weeks. Only now, in May, am I beginning to see the scar lighten. My experience: You have to use this product often, and, for a very long period of time to get results.

I put it on my face everyday
I know this is primarily for scars but I noticed it also says it works for lightening pigment. I have skin that freckles easily but as I get older my skin has started to get unsightly sun spots instead of cute freckles. I started using this basically as a facial moisturizer AM and PM and my skin has never looked better. In the beginning I got a few pimples but it kind of felt like it was just sort of drawing things to the surface that needed to come out.

It may work
It is really difficult to say if this actually works, or if time heals the scars, but I am leaning towards saying it may help. It has a subtle, pleasant smell which I appreciate since I am fairly picky and sensitive to fragrances of any kind. After the dermatologist froze off some skin tags, I wanted to minimize scarring like happened the last time. I have been using this daily and the marks seem to be fading. I am also using it on an older, bad scar to see if it will help. That one is deep though, so it may only work so well. If I can fade the darker pink portions, I will be happy. I will probably purchase this again when it runs out.

It is such a a nice, nourishing oil, that it does what it says it does AND keeps my skin looking youthful.I use it all over now!…but when I started using in it on my face ..(specially at night) my face turned to “gold”…Oh my GOODNESS!!..I cannot express how pleasantly surprised I am at knowing that everywhere, and anywhere, I put this oil, it improves the quality of my skin dramatically. Can’t beat the price. Is a GREAT product at a super affordable cost!!…it lasts a long time too…(a little goes a long way!)

I used it on my c sect scar
If you are still pink or healing this worked insanely well. I did a test spot on my scar and you can tell where I put extra. The scar is smaller and the color of the scar is less noticeable. Feels like oil and dries fast on hands and body.
