Banneton Proofing Basket Set
Sturdy Bread Proofing Basket: The Banneton basket is handmade traditionally from natural Indonesian rattan with a smooth surface and no visible burrs. The stainless steel nails fixed in the bread basket enhance sturdiness and durability. Moreover, the non-exposed stainless steel nails not only add to the basket’s visual appeal but also eliminate any potential safety concerns.
Larger Size: Compared to others, our 10-inch round baskets offer larger size and greater capacity, allowing for more dough to be proofed at once, significantly improving the efficiency of bread making.
Effortless Cleaning: After using the sourdough basket, simply shake the excess flour out. If dough has stuck to the basket, you can place it in a dry and ventilated place to dry it naturally, then use the included cleaning brush to gently sweep out the residue from the basket. In order to prolong the use of the bread basket, it is recommended to reduce the frequency of washing. In addition, Use the linen liner for even easier cleaning.

Weird smell, cheap feeling supplies
When I opened this package, I noticed there was a strange smell to the items. These things all feel pretty cheap, including all of the tools. I would recommend finding a bit higher quality if you are wanting to use these supplies often.

Get ready to bake with this complete set!
I love the quality of the tools in the Bread Proofing Basket kit. The silicone work tools; brush, spatulas, bowl scraper are nicely shaped and strong. They did not bend or buckle when stirring/mixing sourdough bread. The metal dough whisk is terrific. I’d read about it and I’ve watched YouTube videos where bakers have demonstrated using the dough whisk. It’s a great addition to your dough-making equipment. It mixes the ingredients quickly with very little need for lots of scraping the sides down.The dough cutter or bench scraper is really nice with a wooden handle across the top, making it very easy to cut dough apart. The lame was fun to use, I made a cross on the top of the bread.I used the round Banneton round basket and linen insert for the first time. I honestly don’t see the advantage of using it instead of a bowl with high sides covered with cling wrap or a wet kitchen towel. Maybe I’m missing the point, but my dough stuck to the linen and when it was rising, it stuck to the underside of the kitchen towel draped over the top.This, of course has nothing to do with the products, they are absolutely top notch. More of a quandry for this baker.

Just what I was looking for
This is a nice little set. I love that it comes with the round bowl as well as the oval bowl. I’m just wanting to get into sourdough, so I wasn’t really sure what shape I’d prefer. It also comes with a pretty impressive variety of little tools including a blade to score pretty designs into the top of your bread. Overall, this is a great value for the price.
