I think this is a great tool to have, especially if you are a solo hiker/backpacker like myself. Itâs a bit bigger than I imagined, but itâs very lightweight and has everything you might need in an emergency. The whistle is pretty loud, the light is quite bright, the only thing I have yet to find out is the battery life on this and if itâs possible to change at all.

Need to remember that when something does 7 things at once- not everything can be great. Flashlight barely lights⦠but compass and whistle seem fine.

Defective product
Great size and value, but the flashlight works when it wants to. It will occasionally come on when pulling tools out or not at all when you push the button. Whistle is also very picky about how much pressure you use to sound it.
