Great portable guinea pig cage!
I bought this to use as a portable, outdoor guinea pig cage. It’s been working great for that purpose. I could get more panels for less money with this than purchasing something being marketed as for guinea pigs. Easy to assemble and disassemble, holds up well, the size is customizable. Would recommend.

LIKED THEM SO MUCH I BOUGHT A BUNCH MORE
I wanted to set up some shelves for storage in my camper. I assembled the boxes to fit along a bare wall. I have some pretty heavy stuff in them and I use them with Ikea DRONA storage boxes. The plastic connectors cannot really take the weight I wanted to put in them, so I took little plastic zip ties and reinforced all the corners of the shelves. I tested it while I was setting them up and the little plastic connectors would just come apart with the weight I was planning to put into them. But with the zip ties to stabilize them they are totally capable of holding the weight. Having the storage DRONA boxes inside the cubicles also distributes the weight so the structure is stronger and more stable. I also put bungee cords across the front of the cubes so the DRONA boxes don’t wiggle out while you are traveling. I prefer these to wooden shelves because of the weight. These shelves weigh almost nothing compared to solid metal or wood shelves and with the zip ties to reinforce the little clips that hold them together they are just great for mobile storage. I was not sure they would be strong enough but with the zip ties on the corners they are really strong. Be sure to zip tie the corners before you install the shelf unit you build because it is difficult to install the zip once you have the box structure secured to the wall. Of course you must put the heavy items on the bottom shelves and the lighter items on the top so that they are not top heavy as if you did that the weight could possibly pull the screws out of the walls. With the weight on the bottom it stabilizes them as the weight helps to hold them in place and works with you instead of against you. And of course, I have anchored the wire shelves to the wall to further stabilize them. I am really happy with them and they created a lot more storage space, make the whole camper look neat at all times. Everything now has a place and the DRONA boxes actually hold a lot. The DRONA boxes also come in different colors so you can color coordinate and match it perfectly with the decor and design of your camper interior but I prefer black as it doesn’t show marks. Unfortunately I didn’t find a box from AMAZON that fit perfectly that could come near the price of the Drona storage boxes, but they fit the Ikea DRONA boxes perfectly. The other thing is that you are not limited by the shape and size of the area you want to use them in as you can modify the structure of the boxes to fit your needs. I find they to be perfect for what I wanted to use them for. They are also less expensive than using the shelves you normally use to hold the Drona boxes which weigh a lot and you cannot alter the configuration like you can with the Cube Grid Storage Boxes. I took the time to write a lengthy review because if you did this type of use without using the zip ties to secure the corners and put the heavy items on top, failed to use bungee cords to hold the boxes in place during travel, etc. it would definitely not work. Another tip is that on the bottom I placed the plastic corner connectors so they are flat on the floor so they act as a flat base instead of having them hold up the bottom like it shows in the picture when you buy the boxes. This is necessary as the bottom plastic corner connectors will end up bearing all the weight and when you use them so they are flat to the floor, the weight actually helps to hold them in place together with the zip ties making the unit stronger and more stable. By using these simple and basic mechanical principles it made them stronger and more stable and I could use them for this purpose. And even if you are putting them in a camper, the use of zip ties on the corners used to hold each metal pane together will greatly strengthen the shelves and make a lot more stable so you can use them to hold more weight especially if you use storage boxes inside the shelves. And as the boxes are only wire, you can see inside them and with no storage box used they could look pretty messy very easily.

Beats using cardboard boxes
This ended up being a great solution to providing taller shelving on top of one of those chromed wire storage shelves. It eliminates cardboard boxes that cockroaches love to reside in. Iâm pretty mechanically minded, but it was slightly challenging to assemble. Thereâs a few different ways to assemble, but only one way to be able to successfully use all the parts. Definitely strong enough for our application. The only unknown is will the plastic joints last beyond a few years. I canât remember if they included a few spares or not. This was a lot cheaper and easier than trying to âextendâ the chrome wire shelving to be taller.

A quick and easy way to add extra storage space
I feel like these are perfect for apartment dwellers (or students in dorm rooms), because they can be taken apart and stored in a pretty flat space when you need to move again.I have not run into any issues with anything being too heavy for them, and they are quite stable after assembly. But just as a second level of stability, I’ve also secured many of the corners with zip ties, especially if I know that I’ll be putting heavier things in there, or that the location where I’ve put the shelves may be one where the unit could get bumped or jostled.Sometimes when assembling, I’ve had the corner pieces suddenly fly off due to pressure from pushing the other corners together, but that’s a minor niggle. However, you’d do well to squeeze the opposing sides together after attaching the corner pieces. I even use a rubber mallet to tap them into place, as they don’t always go all the way in without some pressure. But again, that’s just a minor thing — only something to be aware of when assembling.I like that you can make the unit as tall as you want (up to a point, obviously — but I’ve got one tower that’s taller than I am, which I don’t load up very heavily), or connect them side-by-side (thereby saving some of the sides and connectors, allowing you to have more shelves overall).Being sort of see-through doesn’t hurt, either, especially for smaller rooms where another type of shelving unit might make you feel like the walls were closing in. ;-)I’ve bought 4 of these, and so I would recommend to anyone looking for a modular shelving option.

Does the job
Super easy to put together, though sometimes you do need a bit of muscle to get the connector to go on all the way. I’ve had mine for quite a while now and it’s just as sturdy as when I first got it. It is super lightweight so you can move it around easily even after it is built, but it is also easy to take apart again if you need to.

Missing parts, rusted grids
We ordered this to set up like a c&c cage for our hedgehog, as it was the only one we could find with the right size grids for the coroplast base. Went to set it up today, only to discover it is missing 6 of the connector pieces (it only came with 20 instead of 26), which means I can not set it up properly. We still had some connectors from a past c&c, but they do not fit and will not stay on. Unfortunately, there is no way to order the correct replacement connectors from Amazon. Some of the grids also seem to be poorly painted, as several of the grids had corners where the paint was missing and the metal is all rusted underneath. At least that is fixable with a little spray paint, but because it’s corners that go inside the connector pieces, the rust will at least not not show much so it won’t be so noticeable.I’m just gonna have to find some sort of way to connect the rest of the pieces properly before our hedgehog gets here. It’s a shame Amazon either doesn’t sell the extra connectors or at least use a general universal connector.

Lo uso para montar mi puesto en exposiciones y hasta ahora no nos ha dado problemas, todo muy bien. La calidad es buena, son pesadas y duraderas.

These cubes are surprisingly very sturdy and better made than I thought they would be….they are pretty deep too, so each cube can hold a decent amount of items. Assembly is smooth too…..take a few minutes to really look at the first picture in instructions, lay them flat on floor and assemble like that…and make sure you *carefully* push in the wires to the connectors so that they are completely in (it kind of ‘snaps’ into place), just go gently so u don’t break the plastic connector (they give 2 extra)…overall a great purchase!

Malgré l’esthétique discutable, ces étagères sont pratiques, modulaires et tout à fait adaptées pour ranger de petites caisse de jouets. J’en ai d’ailleurs commandé 3, le maillage leur accorde une certaine légèreté visuellement.

I like how you can build it to fit your space. I needed something under my stairs where its crazy messy and holds everything my garage used to, untill i moved to a house without one. Hence the messy MESSY photo. It has managed to tuck under the stairs in a space I couldn’t use because of the slanted shape. It holds ALOT of stuff. Carpet cleaners, tools and random stuff i dont need often. I am looking forward to having a she’d build, so I can neatly place boxes/ jars in each cube and have it looking neat and tidy. When that happens I think ill buy another and build it like the picture to sit next to it. It is strong, as when I first built it up (alone) my 4 year old used it as a climbing frame and it didn’t budge. It was easy to put together and was delivered really quickly. My husband would like a set to hang on the wall in his cabin to keep his motor bike helmets in too. So I will re order more, if a deal comes up on them. I do feel they should be a little bit cheaper as there isn’t much to it, material wise. And since I built it, effort wise too. But overall I’m pleased with how it fits, how you can change the shape, make it the size you need and how you can buy more to attach to it. It is simple but good. It took me maybe 5 minutes to put together so was pretty simple to build. I think a rubber hammer would be handy to make it easier again to build, but I managed by just bashing it with my hands. It’s good, easy storage. Nothing flash but it works. I think its worth about £20, no more. I’ll keep a eye on it coming up with a discount before I buy more.
