Good tasting- not a lot of product
Great protein powered for whole food eaters. I got the chocolate flavor and love it. 26 grams is great for this type of protein. My only complaint is that for what I am spending theres not a lot of product compared to other brands. Eating clean is expensive unfortunately. I did however purchase it again because I canât find any other powder like this one

Best Tasting
This is, by far, the best tasting chocolate protein powder Iâve used. It is expensive but I also can bake with it. It has no off-taste of organ meat like others.

Going Paleo? Add Paleo Pro Aztec Vanilla to your pantry
I would strongly recommend folks jumping onto the Paleo bandwagon to stock up on Paleo Protein Pro, Aztec Vanilla.Paleo Pro is a great product supplement for eating clean. I just finished a six week strict Paleo diet challenge, encouraged by Crossfit coaches after seeing my gains with macro-nutrients in muscle mass and lowering body fat and weight. When I started the strict Paleo challenge, I couldn’t get enough protein in, initially. Additionally, eating strictly was a challenge when traveling or for long days in the office. This product saved my bacon during the six weeks, figuratively and literally. It was, and is, my go-to supplement during the day for a healthy protein snack or after a workout. The product tastes good and blends well. The Aztec Vanilla aroma hits you when you open the bag. With 12-16 ounces of water, it goes down well. To be fair, all protein powders are not the same as eating real food. However, if you add a banana the product is super smooth and tastes great, finishing with that taste of vanilla without being overpowered with a chemical finish. Add berries and some ice to kick it up a notch. The powder blended well in water bottles with simple shaking and in a blender with other items. There was no chunky or grainy residue, or clumping when blending, from my experiences. The price to value ratio is solid. At around $40 a bag for 15 servings of 26g of protein each, that’s about $2.60 a drink – reasonable when you consider alternatives that are not Paleo, are similarly priced but contain ingredients you might want to avoid.

Has to be blended
This is the only protein powder Iâve been able to find that fits my dietary needs and has more than 20g of protein per scoop. All the flavors taste great for being sugar free, I rotate them to not get tired of one specifically. Out of all the flavors available the Aztec Vanilla had a VERY strong aftertaste kind of irony. The Ancient Cacao used to be my favorite but it also leaves an aftertaste. The Mayan Mocha has to be the best flavor available and leaves a minimal aftertaste. My only complaint has to be that this protein powder has to be put trough a blender to fully dissolve into my almond milk otherwise it will just clump up and harden.

Get rid of the sweetners and “natural flavors”
I have used this powder for over a year but in my quest to continue to clean up my diet and put my autoimmune disease into remission I am discontinuing use.1. This is way too sweet and I would rather real vanilla bean instead of monk fruit or supposed “natural flavors”.2. “Natural flavors” is not specific enough and in many studies it has been shown that companies that put that are still mixing things in that while supposedly natural, are not necessarily good or organic.3. Ditch the egg whites too. Egg whites can cause issues for some people with autoimmune issues which is often why people follow a Paleo diet. It also doesn’t really need to be added as good and well sourced beef collagen would be enough.Otherwise, this is a good protein powder. Mixes well and for the most part is clean compared to many other products out there. I’d use it again if they got rid of the above.
