Stunning Sofa, Exceptional Customer Service, & Some Good-to-Knows
To answer your probable first question: Yes, it does look this good in person.There are tons of too-good-to-be-true online furniture outfits, but Valencia is the real deal. This was my first major online furniture purchase, and Valencia was proactive and responsive in a way that I have never experienced with an Amazon-based retailer, continuously in communication via phone and chat, preempting any questions I might have had about shipping and logistics.Valencia kept me updated regularly with the status of my shipment, which took about 2 weeks to arrive. I knew when my sofa was in transit and at our local freight hub. They worked with me to coordinate a delivery to my rural area, which the third-party carrier honored. Valencia highly recommends having another able-bodied person on standby to help move the sofa when it arrives; the carrier is only expected to unload it via liftgate. My carrier was kind enough to dolly it to my front porch, but don’t count on it.This is a large piece, securely boxed in sturdy corrugate. Due to the design of the sofa, because all of the cushions are removable, the box is able to fit through narrow doorways. But it is heavy and full-length; you will need a helper to move it and will want one, ideally, to help unbox it.Construction is solid, and assembly is very quick and easy. The wood base and legs are solid and handsome, and the leather is thick, real, and consistent. It has only the faintest leather aroma (I’d prefer a bit more), but it is buttery soft and well upholstered; none of the seams or stitching are stressed, and the cushions fit snugly in their intended arrangement.As some reviewers have remarked: the sofa is firm, but not unyielding. The cushions are a dense foam wrapped with a layer of thick batting. From the outset, it is not soft enough in my opinion for comfortable laying/lounging, but in the few months I have enjoyed it, it is beginning to break in. With an ottoman, it provides fantastic upright seating for a very comfortable reading posture. I expect that over many years, the sofa will soften, begin to show a slight patina, and the cushions will yield a bit to accommodate my preferred seating positions. Frankly, I prefer that scenario to a sofa that is soft from the outset but entirely unsupported after break-in.All in all, if you’re like me, you are eyeing this sofa because you love its aesthetics and attracted by the pricing, which is neither too high to stomach nor too low to possibly equate to a quality product. Indeed, this is a piece that exudes craftsmanship, and Valencia does a best-in-class job of facilitating its sale, transit, and care. Highly recommended!

If you want a semi firm, high quality, and a good designed couch with genuine leather then definitely get this one! Valencia seems like a solid brand and this is my first real couch. I can see it lasting forever. Delivery is easy, will fit through a standard door and assembly is just screwing in the legs. I love it!!

Beautiful sofa
For starters the color is perfect! Itâs not too harsh of a brown with just the right orange undertones. The leather is very smooth and doesnât have a strong smell to it. The cushions are on the firmer side but should wear down nicely over time.The wood legs and base are what catches the eye and seem very sturdy. Over all Iâm very happy with this buy and the price is worth it.

Iâm still in awe at what an amazing purchase this sofa turned out to be. Never in a million years did I think I would buy an expensive leather sofa online without seeing it in person first, but all the five star reviews convinced me.It turns out all those five star reviews were well-deserved, as the sofa itself is immensely beautiful, functional, and comfortable. Right out of the box, the sofa requires just 5 minutes of assembly by attaching the wooden legs. The cognac leather color is beautiful and luxurious to the touch – and the leather smells great as well. No chemical smell to be found. The 88â length allows an average sized adult to lie down comfortably, and it makes for a great day bed once you remove the back cushions. The depth and height of the sofa also makes it perfect for sitting. The firmness of the cushions is exactly what I prefer.Customer service reached out to me directly as soon as I made the purchase, and remained in contact throughout the delivery process. The delivery process was smooth and professional, and delivery guys even helped me carry the sofa into my living room (I made sure to tip them!) which made things so much easier. The sofa was packaged fabulously in protective fabric and high-quality styrofoam – not the cheap kind that disintegrates into a million tiny pieces. Clean up was a piece of cake.This was SUCH a great experience to go through for a fantastic piece of furniture. I am totally satisfied with my purchase – in fact, Iâm sitting on my new leather sofa as I write this review!

My only complaint is actually with Amazon, not the couch. I had a 12 hour delivery window 8a-8p ( someone needed to be home).. after 6 hours of waiting i finally got an updated window time of 4:30pm. So i wasted my whole morning waiting until i got a more precise timeframe which is ridiculous.Arrived within 5 days, easy to put together (just screw on the wooden feet) This couch is great quality leather especially for the price. Easy to wipe down. The size is a little smaller than I hoped for in this room so I may end up purchasing the chair or loveseat. I love the pillows on the sides!! I personally think this couch is 10/10. My husband complains the couch is too firm/uncomfortable but that is what I tend to prefer. So if youâre looking for a soft or cloud like couch- this isnât it.Some reviews said something about customer service reaching out on multiple occasions, no one reached out to me which is fine. Extremely satisfied overall!! Buy the couch- it is beautiful.

Very beautiful, well made and comfortable
We bought two of these along with the matching chair and we love them. They look really great, feel really great to sit in and seem to be made really solid. The only issue I had was that it took almost a month for them to be delivered to us when that was NOT the timeline first given to us.

Recently purchased the Artisan leather sofa, loveseat and chair. Iâm incredibly happy with the quality and workmanship! I was first attracted to the gorgeous cognac color and that it was advertised as pet scratch free. Whatâs even more impressive is how comfortable the couch is especially the side cushions when lying down. I highly recommend Valencia to all my friends and family! I also have to commend Valencia for their excellent customer service – I received a call before the shipment and after to ensure all delivered with no issues. I absolutely love my new leather set. Never thought to buy a couch off Amazon. But Iâm so happy I did. Valenciaâs customer service is amazing. They personally called me when I placed the order to go over delivery. Once the couch was delivered got another call to go over warranty. Then a few weeks after having it another call to see how I liked it. No one else does that.This couch is beautiful. The quality is a 5/5. Itâs a little firm but not hard and uncomfortable. Goes perfectly in our new house.Best couch purchase to date.
