One of the Best GF sweet snacks
I love these. I got diagnosed with celiac about two years ago. Iâve been looking for something sweet and not disappointing.Itâs definitely gluten free-it crumbles easily. But if it didnât, I would have a hard time trusting it. I love that itâs not overly sweet and that it reminds me of simple iced sugar cookies. I promise itâs not overly sweet but is a nice little treat. Itâs pricier but I buy the bulk batch and it lasts me a long long time.

Itâs kinda crumbly and the icing is a bit off⦠I can deal with that. BUT the moment I opened any of the packages it was concerning. I tried toasting some, microwaving, or eating as they were⦠heat only exasperated the smell. It tasted like gasoline, plastic, or some other chemicals. I ate a whole one at one point thinking maybe my taste was off or itâd get better (there are so many positive reviews) and now I hope my health is okay. After that⦠any that I bit into that were chemically tasting/smelling I spat out and tried to clean my mouth. It canât be good for you. I donât know what happened.I saw other reviews from people who may have ordered around the same time and itâs a seems like common thing.Katz needs to reassess and work on their quality control. This is unacceptable⦠the chemicals, the mold, the inconsistency in âdoneness,â (some were as if they were raw or not fully cooked⦠doughy), appearance, filling amount, and icing coverage. Most importantly⦠check your ingredients!Maybe Iâd try again if they worked some of this out⦠I really wanted it to be good. Somewhere they mustâve just slipped up⦠there are so many good reviews. I hope they fix this. Maybe they need a health inspection and to do some serious revamps/monitoring.
