Perfect neoprene buddy brace
I ordered s/m for my small hand. Little tight but it definitely holds the finger in place so my fracture heals. I keep bending my finger or bumping it and I feel the splintered shard of bone above knuckle w/o it on. It definitely is worth its money. Good quality product.

Must be sized precisely right!
It likely is impossible to size precisely right as shipped. These should have been designed to be adjustable. I rather like most of the design. However, the compression is just too much, the sleeve is not sufficiently elastic, and trying to balance that size/compression/effectiveness trade off is probably impossible without it being adjustable. This is a good concept, but not implemented well. That said, I am editing this review. I removed the strap and shortened mine, as my dislocated joint is the end of my middle finger (yeah, that finger), and just covering a single joint works. This let me find that compression stabilization sweet spot by cutting off the part that was too tight, and it is working perfectly for me, so with a little ingenuity, this was what I was looking for. It now provides support, lets me use the finger joint, and is sort of minally in the way. If you use the whole thing over several finger joints it is too tight somewhere in order to be effective. As designed, they almost have to be so tight as to cut off the blood supply. I suspect this is why Amazon popped up a box stating something like this is a high return item. If you modify it to fit your particular finger joint need, as I did, these work well. Measure your finger diameter and pay special attention to the sizing. You may have to buy two sizes for your particular joint, but I would just keep these on hand for future dislocated joints, lets not abuse Amazon’s return policy (which is old school and I love it, and no, no affiliation!). These are not expensive, and are less than your copay if you went to an MD to get an equivalent, look at it from that perspective, even if you have to buy a couple to get the right size.

This saved my finger!
I have bad arthritis in my pinky finger and get terrible pain from bone on bone when I bend it. I have to be able to type for my job and it was killing me. I’ve been trying out various finger sleeves and although they helped, they either didn’t fit quite right or didn’t provide enough support. This one is perfect and I’m so happy I found it! It’s great that is has the option to attach with velcro around the next finger so that it can’t get injured by being pulled out to the side. The material is great, silky to the touch but firm enough to stop the bending. The small was a perfect fit for my pinky. What a relief for a chronic daily problem!

Not worth the money
I ordered the S sleeve for arthritic finger issues. The sleeve is cheaply made and super tight. To get it on the finger you have to pull it down pretty hard which is painfull with any kind of injurie. I wore it for maybe 1 hour and the tip of my finger started to get cold from lack of blood circulation and you cant adjust the sleeve since it is one piece of stretchy material. Also the band is not very long, it barely fits around 2 fingers.I returned the item for a refund. Save your money!!

I bought it for a volleyball player whom had a fractured on his pinky finger. The sleeve is comfortable but the Velcro made it keeping it in place uncomfortable.Manufacturer should use a different method to secure it. Other than that it does the jobâ¦..ish!

Not Chinese finger trap
I bought these thinking they were those fun Chinese finger trap thingys. I quickly realized they were not. I could get my fingers out quickly. But they have stabilized them really well. I still wish I could catch someone in Chinese finger traps. Do you remember how hard they were to escape from when you were small? Yeah me too.
