Adhesive doesnât hold well
It could be because of where it was placed but the bandage ( used for a pressure spot ) did not stay attached on all 4 sides for 48 hours.

Excellent for Speed and Quality of Healing of Open Wound Sites
I was originally advised to use them to cover my partial amputation of left foot. In the shoe, if not rigid especially, the outer edge of the wound had constant pressure and was constantly rubbing on the wound itself while it was in the process of closing. This made healing so much faster! I also found it is excellent protection against unwanted moisture getting in the wound. Always stayed dry. Never failed. Excellent product!

Good for Flat Surfaces, Not Ideal for Sacral Pressure Sores
I recently purchased the Conkote Silicone Adhesive Foam Dressings and have mixed feelings about them. While I don’t dislike the product overall, I must point out that it falls short in certain aspects, specifically when it comes to sacral pressure sores.Let me start with the positives. These dressings are excellent for wound care on flat surfaces such as the stomach, chest, or thigh. The silicone adhesive foam provides a comfortable and secure barrier, effectively protecting and aiding in the healing process. I found them easy to apply and remove, without causing any discomfort or skin irritation.However, where these dressings fall short is in their suitability for sacral pressure sores. Unfortunately, the adhesive is not strong enough to maintain a secure hold in the moist areas between the coccyx and sphincter. This lack of adhesion undermines their effectiveness in this particular area. If you are specifically looking for a dressing to address sacral pressure sores, I would recommend considering other options.In terms of flexibility, I found the Conkote Silicone Adhesive Foam Dressings to be slightly less flexible compared to brands like MedVance or Medline. This might not be a significant concern for most users, but if flexibility is a priority for your specific needs, it’s worth considering other alternatives.To summarize, these dressings perform admirably for wound care on flat surfaces as mentioned above. However, they are not the best choice for sacral pressure sores or for wounds that are in locations with many folds or acute contours due to the adhesive’s inability to maintain a strong hold in moisture prone areas.

Comfortable, Absorbent and No Skin Breakdown or Allergic Reaction!
I purchased these because I had 5 weeks of drainage from a boil. My skin around the boil had broken down due to the drug store bandages I had been using. But these Conkote bandages absorbed without leaking and the silicone bandage was soft and secure on the skin. I never had itching or burning as I did from other bandages. Conkote never leaked due to the thickness of the sponge. I highly recommend these bandages for wounds with long time drainage or sensitive skin.
