What am I reviewing?I am reviewing kCarpoly’s six (6) pack of white [listed as] cotton replacement [20 oz] mop heads that are with traditional clamp type mops.How were these presented?I received a thick, shrink-wrapped sealed, clear, non-retail plastic bag that had no retail or brand information on the bag – other than a small UPC type sticker affixed outside. It’s a generic presentation, almost commodity like; I am not a fan how there was no product information with this to corroborate what the listing claimed.What was inside?Inside that bag were the six (6) [listed as] cotton replacement type traditional mopheads. The six (6) mop heads were shrink-wrapped, which I appreciated. Reason being, whether real or imagined, I think a shrink-wrapped product allows for product integrity. Plus, it takes less storage, until opened.What’s the package’s size?The package measured “about” 14” x 11” x 4”.Weight?The package weighed in at about (3,524) grams, which is about (7¾) pounds, that’s heavy for mop heads.First impression?These are oversized and fluffy, I like that.How many?Included were six (6) mop heads; by comparison a competitors took up considerably less space and had the same quantity of six (6) mop heads.Brand?There was no brand referenced on the product, so generic, commodity like.Durability?Excellent, no mop head fell apart, and the mop heads capably did what they were supposed to do, with no complaints from me.Weight?Each mophead weighed in at about (585) grams, that’s about (20) ounces, which is as advertised; and which is about (43%) heavier than the average microfiber mop. These mop heads are closer to the weight of a cotton mop, which easily weighs in at about the area of (1½) pounds. I appreciate these feel substantial but do carry excess weight when comparing a microfiber mop head.What this does?Not only is this a capable wet mop, but this can also act as a dust mop, however, microfiber are better dry cleaners than cotton mops to move away light to bulk debris away.No Medusa like mophead here.These have “tailbands,” that’s the line stitched at the bottom (¼) of the mophead. Hence, the looped/tubular mop strips “do not” go all over the place, rather, they are tightly constrained. I prefer that. I think this design offers me more control of the mop, to clean.MaterialCotton, however, there is nothing that corroborates that when these arrived, no reference anywhere in the bag or on the mop head, that I saw.Do I like these?Yes, I like these mopheads because they are styled like the old school mopheads that work with a classic clamp mop handle. I use these for tough dirty jobs, where I want to apply lots of water and cleaning solution to an area, squeeze the mop out, then go over the area to absorb all that dirty water back up. I use two (2) buckets with squeeze heads. Allowing me to apply the cleaning solution, the other to wring out the mop with. I especially like that these have that tailband, causing the looped/tubular ends to stay even, allowing me greater control. No Medusa head strands here.DustingI think microfiber has better properties to use as a dry dusting mop, but I will use this cotton mop head when I have no synthetic mop head handy to use.AbsorbencyAs for absorbency, they really are a capable absorbent, however, microfiber does do well also, without the weight found with cotton.Streaking?None, when using reasonable efforts to avoid.Easy to use?Yes, these are easy to use, I simply clamp onto their reinforced head. I have had no issues with their durability, such as loose or disintegrating mop loops. But these “are” heavier than microfiber.Care?I do not throw mopheads into the wash machine, however, I do hand wash them in the utility sink and/or a bucket. These wash clean and seem to have a much slower drying time than mop heads that have all or a portion of synthetic fiber [microfiber].Value?The price is at a bargain price, as compared against other microfiber and/or cotton mop heads. These are just under ($6.50) a head, which is about (50%) less than the average microfiber head [November 2024], and slightly less than the average cotton head. These are excellent mop heads.Country of origin?Made in ChinaAre these perfect?No, however, I do “not” have any significant criticisms and think they are at least a weak five (5) star item. [They are heavy and I do not like that there is no reference on the mop head that it’s made of cotton.]I hope my thoughts helped add some information.

While these mopeds work well I have some minor issues.
First, I really dislike when products are shipped with no labeling as to the maker or the contents. These mops have nothing but a generic made in China sticker on the plastic bag. That tells me nothing about who to hold responsible for problems or what it is made out of and how to care for it.Second, I also hate it when sellers charge more per unit in larger quantities when the normal quantity discount would call for the opposite. Their package of three mops costs less per mop than the package of six. That makes no sense and you wonder why that is the case.But the mops do perform well and attached to the handle as expected. So I have no issue using them I just don’t understand why a maker/seller would not properly label their product if they are proud of it.I hope this helps. Thanks for reading and liking.

I love having extras on hand, so this multi pack is great. The heads are full and thick which is great for covering a big surface when I’m mopping.

I’m very pleased with these mop head replacements. I like that they came in a pack of 6. And this may seem like an odd thing, but I like that they are WHITE. Oftentimes I have to buy grey, etc and it just makes it harder to tell when it’s dirty. I expect these mop heads to hold up well with regular use.
