Finally one that works
I tried a couple of anti-bark boxes & they did not work for my 15lb jack Russell terrier. I was going to give up, but saw this hand held one on sale so I thought Iâd give it one last try. Iâm so glad I did.
It works perfectly for my dog who used to bark at everything. I had tried positive behavioral training with treats to change the barking but it did not work. This device in combination with the continued positive behavioral training with treats worked perfectly! What wasnât happening at all, was changed (corrected) in 3 days. WOW!! LOVE this device! So convenient, fits comfortably in pocket & has wrist strap also. The color orange is not my favorite, but it is easily found when set down. Lol.

I have two little ones who have totally opposite personalities and demeanors. Ruby (the brown one) is 4 and very active, outgoing and ready for adventure. Bonita (the black one) is 13 very timid, reserved and could care less about doggie toys or chews. Walking them every day got to be a chore and not much fun because the sight of another dog walking with their owner put both of mine in ballistic mode of barking violently and lunging on their leashes. I actually fell once and at 67, it wasn’t pretty. I’ve tried different methods of training them with no luck. I bought this bark deterrent device because it had wonderful reviews and the price was right. Well, I had them both trained from violently barking in the house after a few days! Outdoor walking was a little different. My command is “QUIET!” when i have to push the device button. I had Ruby under control after just a few “other dog sightings” on our daily walks. She definitely doesn’t like the noise and will stop barking and shake/ tilt her head. Bonita on the other hand is one of those 3% nonconformers! She will bark violently to the death at another dog and nothing’s going to stop her. Maybe she’s just too set in her ways at 13. Maybe she just needs more training and my patience. This device works just fine on her indoors. Overall I am very satisfied with this product and would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a safe training device!! ð¤ð¥°

Sleek and strong. Great anti-bark device and flashlight
The has been great to help with our 110lb dog. We had a bark collar for him, but he is too sensitive for it. This device works amazing. It allows us to use it while heâs in the back yard and starts barking. He reacts to it instantly and stops barking. It also has a great flashlight on it. You can choose to change the frequency and it also has a lock setting so you donât mistakenly press the button.
We have a large back yard and so far the device seems to have good range. I actually like the color too because itâs easy to find in our everything draw. Overall I rate this product highly because it does exactly what it says and is very sturdy.

I’ve had this since mid March and wanted to give an honest review.
Once upon a time there was a family with two dogs, one a 6 y old GSD and the other a 3 yr old lab. These babies created several situations:
1. The GSD barks at all the dragons passing outside the living room window, the lab joins in with a very loud howl. When they are really amped up, it is impossible to hear yourself think. Coaxing with attention or treats has not been effective.
2. When the neighbors dog is outside the GSD decides it’s time for cardio and runs and barks up and down that side of the fence (there is no longer any grass there). The GSD simply looks at me when called, I can hear her saying ‘I’m having fun here, later for you’ and continues running and barking until her tongue is hanging out. Years of trying to get her to stop this has not stopped the behavior.
3. The GSD LOVES car rides but, barks at people walking on the sidewalk and at anyone who looks at her, she lives by Stranger = Danger policy. Again the Lab being a good brother joins her with the howling, imagine driving with that song being sung at full volume in your ear.
After trying various ways to stop these behaviors I decided to try this. I’ve used the ‘silent’ sound to stop them from barking at the dragons passing our house or delivering packages, they are getting better with just a shhhh. The GSD will stop running and barking at the neighbors dog and come into the house when called with this device. And… we’re still working on the singing in the car.
I really love this training aid. It is lightweight and is not too big for my small hands. The two modes are nice to have. The beeping works for the GSD but not the LAB, the ultrasonic mode works for both. We take this on walks and the flashlight is nice to have for our night time walks. 10+ points for the USB-C charging. I’ve only charged it once since getting it so battery life seems great. Overall this is a great addition to the various tools, devices and training aids to help keep the dogs attentive when needed. Would highly recommend.

Worked great on older dogs but not on my puppies
Weâve used shock/beep collars on our older dogs in the past and those dogs obeyed this command very easy. However, the younger puppies werenât phased by it. I think this is great if you start out with a collar first.
