Good to have in the galley on board my boat!
I wanted to have one on my boat, and got the double pack so I can keep one in my kitchen at home, too. Very reasonable price. Packaged well and fast delivery. I have never used a fire blanketâ¦and I hope I never need to, but it is a good investment to make for our safety!

Good precaution
Feels like decent quality, definitely good value compared to the original. I’m not sure how well it works. My hope is that it will be good enough to slow a small fire at worst while I can grab the extuingisher or baking soda. It’s on the fridge right in the kitchen, easy to grab. Seems easy to use, small and portable. A cheap item that could save a disaster. Would recommend.

Saved my home!
One of those things you buy and hope you donât ever need. I had a grease tray that was not deep enough. It overflowed and ignited immediately with flames shooting out and toxic black smoke from the handles on utensils laying next to the grill melting. There was wood close by. Too hot to get close to. Threw the blanket over it but it still took about 5 minutes for the grease to quit burning as the vents on the side were uncovered. I am buying another one now to get more coverage. This saved me a lot of grief! Get it. You never know.

To have on hand just in case
I bought this fire blanket to go along with an extinguisher that I have in the kitchen … just in case a fire starts. Luckily I haven’t had to use it yet, but it’s size is convenient to store alongside the fire extinguisher under the sink. Hope to never have to use it, but I’m glad that I have it on hand. Not a bad price. There’s also a 2-pack available that’s a good price too.

I got this a while ago but still havenât had the opportunity to try it, and Iâm hoping itâll stay that way haha. Theyâre surprisingly heavy though, so Iâm confident they would smother a fire. Takes up less space than a pressurized extinguisher so thatâs cool.
