Cute. Bell Color Discrepancy. Seems Delicate. Wonât Get Over A Head Much Wider Than The Neck.
So, I donât have a dog, but I do have a weird fashion sense, and I figured this collar could incorporate well as a choker into Kawaii or Clown Core outfits. So, I ordered it in the color âBlue Pinkâ in a size L with hopes that it would fit nicely around my 12-inch neck. I was hoping that the elastic stretch would be forgiving enough that Iâd be able to slid this on over my very petite, female head, but it unfortunately doesnât have all that much stretch. Indeed, it doesnât even come close to making over my head. In fact, while I think it would be able to slide over a dogâs head that has a slender face, I canât imagine it would fit over a bulky, boxy head, like that of a Pitbull. Cats should have no problem, though, other than the offense taken at being forced to endure such humiliation.Anyway, the pom poms are dense and soft, and their colors match those in the product images well. The bell, which produces a mild jingling, is unfortunately a different color than pictured. Instead of being pastel pink on top and white on bottom, the entire thing is a shiny magenta (see my photo), which I feel clashes with the other colors.As far as durability is concerned, I have a hard time seeing this holding up to daily wear for an active, exuberant dog. While the pom poms are pretty nice, theyâre still just soft pom poms. And the elastic band that holds everything together is just so thin, like much thinner than a decent hair elastic, that I feel it would break fairly quickly.Overall, this is a cute collar that I imagine will fit some dogs better than others, depending on their head shape. And it may or may not hold up well to wear and tear, depending on the activeness of your pet. As a human, it doesnât really work as a choker, but itâs still rather pretty, despite the misrepresented color of the bell.

Cute, but a novelty
I wouldnât suggest leaving this on your cat all the time. Itâs not a safe break away type collar so if they get caught on something they could get hurt. But it is so cute and my cat seemed to be modeling it off. I do wish I had gotten a bigger size cause it seemed a bit tight. But thatâs my fault.
