Nice Zen garden at your finger tips
This was neat to set up. I love having it on my desk especially while on the phone. I used to have a doodle pad when I was on the phone. Nervous energy, I guess. Now when I am on extended conversations, I find myself raking the garden and rearranging it. I was looking online of a real mini bonsai tree to add to it but no luck. I do like the little tree it comes with though. I can’t seem to get the rocks the way I want to. The two little fish never seem to look right no matter when I put them in the row of rocks. This would make a wonderful gift.

Top quality Zen components!
One of the first things I noticed when I opened the box and started taking each component out of their individually wrapped bubble wrap is that they were made out of ceramic, glass, and high quality materials – no plastic! That sure started me off on the right foot with this pretty set. Just unpackaging each item and feeling them, from the smooth white ceramic of the praying statue, to the cool clear surface of the hourglass, the ceramic material of the bridge… It seemed like taking each item out and touching them started bringing on a calming – and yes, zen – feeling around me. The sand is oh so white! There’s even 2 cute little fishies you should be able to see in the plastic baggie with the stones. The cherry blossom tree is cute, and you can move the branches around to fluff it up. The whole thing comes in a very nice white box, which can be given as a gift – but do yourself a favor, and keep it to give yourself some calm and serenity.

Nice little garden!
The first thing I noticed was the tray -definitely quality and made of bamboo. The bag of pebbles was odd, as there seem to be three distinct types of stones -about a dozen that are polished, semi-precious stones by appearance; -a bit over a dozen that are quartz type stones, tumbled but not polished; -and then s few dozen that are more like riverbed pebbles. In all, I suppose that it gives one more options for their use.The figurine is cute – it definitely has the look of many yoga studio, or zen meditation studio type designs. The small bridge appears to be made of clay with a simple glazing. A fake rock with ‘moss’ on it, two small koi fish and a small wood rake for making patterns in the sand, along with a small cherry blossom ‘tree’ (this is a throw-away quality part in some ways) round out the set.

Lots of things to play with!
I did an unboxing video to show what it looks like opened. The design is fun and would make a lovely gift. I got the bridge one because I thought the koi were cute. The bridge is nice and heavy, which can be a pleasant sensory experience. I also really like the statue, moss, koi, and hourglass. The stones are a nice touch, but they can be hard to move in and out of the sand without getting it all over your fingersâI wish it came with a tiny sifter to lift them easily.I love the tree’s look in theory, but it is shedding both fluff and small black bits into the white sand. it also has visible glue. I may not use it long.Even with minor issues, this is a high-quality distraction in the right price range that would look great on a desk. I can see spending hours noodling with it to help beat anxiety. Five stars!

I really liked the set, since my choice in purchase. When it arrived, the hourglass was broke and the Jasmine tree was bent and missing blossoms. I requested another update. But it arrived in the same condition. I don’t understand when everything is bubble wrapped and appears protected.
